Why has Hillary suddenly become Rove's 'baby'
How much longer do we have to endure this?

"At a campaign stop in Prestonburg, Kentucky, Sen. Hillary Clinton said that an election analysis by a firm led by Karl Rove supports the argument that she is a stronger Democratic candidate than Sen. Barack Obama.

Said Clinton, "There've been a lot of analysis about which of us is stronger to win against Sen. McCain, and I believe I am the stronger candidate."

How can someone who fabricates sniper fire be considered strong?

1. Well, Rush only got a few screwballs with his Chaos dealie to get Hillary elected.
So, maybe Rove has stepped in to help her win, as they don't want Obama. Hillary would be more likely to "cooperate" with the old administration after Jan. 2009.

23. That was the great Storm
our lovable dork, 1993 - 2007. We miss that look at dinner time! He lived through the Northridge Earthquake in 1994 and it slightly unhinged him but he was still lots of fun! If Don Knots were a cat, he'd be Storm...

Obama threw a monkey wrench into their carefully-crafted scheme.

Al the Dems have to do is the total OPPOSITE of what Karl recommends, and we are on Easy Street through the GE. The turd is a world class loser responsible for the destruction of what did they call it a short time ago?....Oh yeah..."the permanent republican majority"

All the RW'ers have been rooting for her. It has been bizarre. It is why her campaign now loves Faux News.

13. If "sweetie" is the worst thing you can dredge up about Obama
That's pretty pathetic. HRC, on the other hand, has more skeletons in her closet than the number of skeletons which the war she supported has created.

14. Same reason Hillarites populate Fox news, same reason Hillary goes on O'Reilly & Bill goes on Rush
Edited on Tue May-20-08 12:00 AM by kenny blankenship
They can't win the Democrats the usual way so they are driven to the Fox News / Limbaugh demographic: white people who resent how the world has changed. Older people who're afraid of any further change at all. O'Reilly has the oldest viewership on the air. Her going to O'Reilly tells you what Hillary needs.

Remember how back in the 90s the Clintons brought in Dick Morris when Bill was President? That shows that the Clintons are hardly above embracing a thoroughly vile Right Wing sleaze and seeking his insights into attracting people like himself from the electorate. With that history behind them, Hillary getting adopted now as a pet project by Fatass Limbaugh and adopted also as the last Great White Hope by Pat Buchanan at MSNBC, and then ultimately hobnobbing with KKKarl Rove is not only a perfectly natural evolution for the Clintons, but given their difficulty in attracting the progressive and young elements of the Democratic Party, and the impossibility of attracting the African American element, it's a NECESSARY adaptation for them. Normally Democratic candidates would avoid a Bill O'Reilly or Herr Rove like the plague, just as normally candidates would pitch themselves to active voting Democratic demographic groups and areas and not bother with others. But the Clintons can't get close to the numbers they need going the normal Democratic route. They split the usual Dem groups with Obama but they come up short. If they want to stay competitive, they have to make up the votes somewhere: spoiling Republicans, older people (Fox news viewers) who reject Obama because of his race, resentful whites in hinterland states of working age who can't contribute much money but who do look askance on a black man doing better in life than they are doing, and will vote accordingly. Normally Democratic candidates don't solicit these votes because the demographics among them ultimately favor the Republicans: they're not very reliable as Democrats and appealing to them gets sticky since it involves antagonism towards more reliable Democratic constituencies.

Fox News, O'Reilly, Buchanan, Limbaugh represent a demographic remainder - they're WHAT'S LEFT after the vital elements of the Democratic coalition have been divided up with the Clintons finding themselves on the losing end. Hillary associates with these ugly rightwing media characters--even the Prince of Darkness Himself Karl Rove-- because she needs the kind of people who they appeal to to vote for her, or rather to vote against Obama.

Edited on Tue May-20-08 04:39 PM by kenny blankenship
McCain campaign touts Rove as informal advisor
And Hillary Clinton has been about the only thing that makes waking up in the morning tolerable for them lately. So that accounts for his motivation.
