Clinton's parallel universe
Hillary Clinton, campaigning in Kentucky, sounds more and more like she's functioning in a parallel universe.

She said she has won based on the popular vote, if you count Michigan and Florida, which haven't counted since last year. She said she has won based on the winner-take-all Republican primary rules, which don't count because it's a Democratic primary. And, in a new twist, she says she's won in the Electoral College:

"The states that I've won total 300 electoral votes. The question is who can win 270 electoral votes? My opponent has won states totaling 217 electoral votes." Except that the Electoral College only counts after you win the nomination.

Tomorrow, Obama is expected to win enough delegates to clinch an absolute majority in pledged delegates currently certified. A number of superdelegates have said they will support whoever gets a majority of pledged delegates. So he's expected to bring in another haul of superdelegates, too.

1. She's made herself into a laughing stock.
Not a very dignified way to exit the race.

2. I have a headache.
Republican rules. Popular Vote including Michigan and Florida but not the caucus States. It's not the math - it's karl rove's map. I can't keep up anymore, I just can't.

3. she forgot two other important measures:
the full moon count - wherein the primaries that are closest to a full moon should count, while those with a half or new moon should not.

the scissors, paper, rock count - all super delegates should be assigned one of the three labels. then, all three groups would be placed in a room. Since, paper covers rock, and rock beats scissors, AND scissors cut paper, it is obvious that the delegate count is a three way tie, ergo the Michigan and Florida delegates will decide who is to be the nominee.

5. I think I've finally figured out Hillary's problem

I saw Warren Buffet on TV this morning and he said he supports Obama. When the richest pirate in the world said that -- it helped me to reach a conclusion.

I think the white male establishment figures they can control a black male easier than they can a white female.

11. pitiful
in fact, Clinton's support has come overwhelmingly from rich people. Obama built a campaign on donations from voters.. One and a half MILLION of them at this point.

Clinton has some rich old asshole trying to buy "youth vote" super delegates because those who are looking to the future are SICK OF HER and want her to GO AWAY. She is an embarrassment to herself at this point. I'm a female and she and Ferraro can kiss my ass because I wouldn't claim either one of them as a spokesperson for feminism. They're spokespeople for the same old corrupt crony crap that we have had for decadess and PEOPLE ARE SICK OF IT.

I wouldn't vote for Hillary for dogcatcher.

6. 'Parallel Universe'
popped into my head yesterday. That is what this sideshow has become. It's distressing that they are trying to add MI and FL into her winner-take-all calculation.

'Parallel Universe" = another way to say "Delusional."

8. PS
If Obama were doing this kind of moving of the goalposts, can you imagine the hue and cry? He would be hounded out.

But all this is instructive in a sense, in that people can see the worst of politics...and see how dishonest a candidate & her supporters will become to win. It is this kind of corruption at the top that the American people have got to stop.

So carry on, Hillary & Co.....

10. is this the same parallel universe where Spock has a beard?
She's fast becoming to the Democratic party what Bush is to the Republic party, an embarrassment. She has truly jumped the couch.
