I'm getting spammed from individuals in the Hillary campaign
This morning I had 4 identical emails in my inbox from someone identified only as a Hillary supporter. They were inviting me to an event in Burbank, CA - I live in WI. How does a member of a campaign get to email their entire database 4 times? I signed up to get Hillary emails but unsubscribing will not get rid of this.

Norma Zuckerman has posted an upcoming event on HillaryClinton.com and wants you to come. Please visit the link below to RSVP:

" STOP SEXISM and COUNT THE VOTES IN FLORIDA AND MICHIGAN !"
5/20/2008 3:00:00 PM

This is really annoying.

1. So just add the sender to your spam filter. It's not a big deal.
I get stuff from all three campaigns. I delete all of it. Anything annoying gets added to the spam list.

It's really not a big deal.

2. SPAM IS a big deal.
Campaign websites should not be set up to allow their supporters to do this- when you give your email address for campaign updates, you're not supposed to be giving it to ANYONE else who signs up at the website.

3. No, spam is really not a big deal. You click delete and it's all gone.
If you click the spam button it is gone forever.

For all the things to get upset about, I would think this would be at the very bottom of the list.

6. You don't see the big picture on this.
If everyone does this, it makes the internet/email unusable. This is irresponsible.

And its not about Hillary vs. Obama.

4. They don't want you to attend...they want you to identify the FL and MI situation with SEXISM
This is simply typical propaganda. You take two utterly unrelated things (FL/MI and SEXISM) and package them together. Then you repeat repeat repeat. It is an effective method, because people start associating the two unrelated things with each other, so they take on the illusion of a relationship. Moreover, in order for anyone to "debunk" the relationship, they too have to mention the unrelated thing in the same breath. This effectively turns even your opponents into vehicles for the dissemination of your bullshit.

...in a Democratic primary process--is a form of sexism?

Let me think about this for a second...

You did post the contents of an email from the Hillary camp, and those comments

14. No, I was just pointing out how...
...utterly ridiculous it is to link not counting Florida and Michigan with
sexism--which was clearly done in that email.

It's completely deranged, wouldn't you agree?

15. Its ridiculous unless you think of Florida as America's wang
and therefore its votes should not be counted. Reverse sexism by state shape
