Clinton: Karl Rove analysis supports me as strongest candidate
http://rawstory.com/news/2008/Clinton_Karl_Rove_analysis_supports_me_0519.html

At a campaign stop in Prestonburg, Kentucky, Sen. Hillary Clinton said that an election analysis by a firm led by Karl Rove supports the argument that she is a stronger Democratic candidate than Sen. Barack Obama.

Said Clinton, "There've been a lot of analysis about which of us is stronger to win against Sen. McCain, and I believe I am the stronger candidate. And just today I found some curious support for that position when one of the TV networks released an analysis done by -- of all people -- Karl Rove saying that I was the stronger candidate. Somebody got a hold of his analysis and there it is."

Clinton also claimed that she now has won more votes "to be nominated" than anyone in either party has ever garnered in a White House run.

Rove has been a polarizing figure in politics for years. He was, until August of 2007, President Bush's closest adviser and Deputy Chief of Staff. He has also been drawn into legal battles, including testifying in the Libby CIA leak case and presently defying a request to testify before the House Judiciary Committee on politically-motivated prosecutions in the Justice Department.

In addition to running his consulting firm, Rove now appears as a political analyst on Fox News among other endeavors....

Okay. This is disgusting beyond disgusting.

The woman is nuts. She has lost her marbles. Karl Rove's analysis as a selling point. Not only is this beyond reprehensible, it is politcally STUPID. Rove is the SYMBOL of all that is evil about the Bush administration.

Hillary, get the hell out of the race, and get some professional help.

GROSS

3. "Extortion You Can Believe In"
The new Clinton '08 campaign slogan

Our party is being held hostage by a madwoman who will stop at nothing...NOTHING to feed her out-of-control ego and lust for power. This must end today.

4. Karl Rove analysis supports me as strongest candidate
Of course it does, because the repukes know they can beat Hillary a lot easier than they can take down Obama.

6. Mr. Math also thought the rethugs were going to pick up seats in 2006
They both seem to be challenged by math.

7. Harold Ford to Terry McAuliffe "you need to drop the Karl Rove reference".
Edited on Tue May-20-08 08:31 AM by sparosnare
I'm not much of a fan of Harold Ford, but he was visibly disgusted when McAuliffe invoked Rove's 'map' and used him to bolster Clinton's chances in an interview this morning on MSNBC.

It's offensive that her campaign has done this; given credence to a man who has made it his mission to destroy the Democratic Party.

9. that was great.
and Terry kept defending it, and then Harold said "Fine. She can use THE map. Just drop his name from it." And then Terry said "Yes, let's drop the name! I'm sick of Karl Rove! I'm sick of Karl Rove! We'll call it the Harold Ford Jr map!"

8. I will never forget the angry, disgusted look on her face....
when she came out of some office building in DC the next morning after NC and Indiana and tersely said "If we were going by republican rules, I'd be the nominee right now".

It doesn't surprise me one bit that she would embrace rove's analysis, she likes their primary rules as well.

10. What in the hell is wrong with Hillary?
I guess it's true desperate people do desperate things...Voting with Bush on the war, going on FOX, add Scaife. and now Rove...Hillary is no longer a Democrat, well she has not been for some time ever since she joined hands with the DLC. Pushing the race issue has opened up old wounds and could get someone hurt. I can't believe I didn't see this side of her before now...

12. I really think she is so power crazed she has lost the ability for objective, rational thought

Hillary is a smart woman. The fact that she is campaigning in this way, it shows a scorched earth policy that will come back to burn her.

I wish she would stop, not just for the country's sake, but for her own sake.

She is ruining what is left of her reputation.
