3. Good, then they can make better ones in the future after the criticism

First, I would find some good MIDI sounds instead of relying on standard default Quicktime MIDI sounds or whatever you're using, it can make MIDI sound much better. You can get free programs which will separate each individual instrument on the MIDI song, and you can switch out the sounds.

Second, the words really should match up to the music. This isn't a Willie Nelson song where you can sing behind the beat and it still sounds OK - especially for a parody song, you want to pretty much match it up pretty much like the original.

Look forward to the next one, though, don't stop just cause some asshole has to be a music snob about it ;-)
