I Just Purchased A Hat From The Obama Store
My friend, Nate, God bless him, turns seventy two on June 25th... He and his wife like Obama so I bought him the hat...I still favor Hillary Clinton but it's not my birthday...

I live in Central Florida and there aren't many ultra conservative rural areas left or I might get and wear one for fun...

4. I Live In Central Florida
There are many conservative areas but most of the very conservative areas are in Jacksonville and the Panhandle... You wouldn't get insulted for wearing Obama or even Hillary gear but you might be treated as something "exotic"...

5. He Probably Wouldn't Put A Bumper Sticker On His Escalade For Fear Some Yahoo Would Mess It Up
It only takes one... That being said I see folks put Obama and Hillary bumper sticker on some really nice cars...

If your suggestion is that politics is marketing in drag I agree with you...

3. I live in Central Florida and voted for Obama
Also am a woman and a senior over 50. My vote didn't count but I wanted to make a statement.

8. I, too, live in Central FL near The Villages where it is
Republican Hell. I actually wore a tee shirt there with *'s picture and it said, "Like a Rock, Only Dumber." Many people came up to me and whispered to me that they liked my tee, but had to be careful about their political preference because there are so many who disagree. I also went to a small Obama rally last Sunday where there were more than 200 people from The Villages. I can't help but wonder how many silent Democrats there are in the area, too intimidated to speak up. The only people that come here to speak are repukes: Rudy, Mitt, *, Ollie North, etc. I also voted for Obama in the primary, knowing my vote wouldn't count, and I will vote for Obama in the GE where I assume my vote won't count again because FL's Electoral Votes will most likely go for McBush. Of course, I can hope, can't I?
