75,000 latte liberals at the Oregon rally? Right.

1. Latte is merely frothy, milky coffee... it's not as "fancy" as some people pretend. n/t
n/t

3. Whatever happened to the old RW insult, "limousine liberal"?
I guess they started a War on Coffee.

4. Ugh- "giving comfort"- now that is a GOP talking point
But I agree, so is Latte Liberal. People like to put others into neat little groups. It means they don't have to see shades of gray.

5. As far as I'm concerned, anybody using that term
IS a Republican.

No doubts about it.

7. Well what about all those fancy librul's at that Oregon rally walking
around saying "Lattes for your Decemberist tickets! Lattes for your Decemberist tickets!!"? Huh? I heard Rushbo say they saw Obama jump in a Volvo Limousine and follow the Decemberist's two-toned conversion tour van to the next city.

I mean in the 60s they at least did the honest thing and offered Hash for tickets. But no I'll I got was this stinkin' starbucks latte. After the milky top was gone the rest just tasted like burning.

8. I think classism and yankee ethnocentricity are offensive
I'm so far left of center I make the rest of ya'all look like Republicans

I had contempt for appeasement and centrist liberalism a LONG time before it became a talking point of the right wing

Classism... disdain for working stiffs... disdain for southern people... disdain for country people... disdain and smug condescension towards the poor and minorities... taking us for granted... presuming ya'all know better for us in the inner city than we know for ourselves...

classism and thinly veiled racism... WASP ethnocentricity

I roast the best fair trade coffee and make my own latte's for a dollar a cup and I'm boycotting starbucks, because they're fascist fucks that have made a billion, marketing faux "hipness" to compulsive consumers

I started voting against Republicans 35 years ago... after years on the street in the anti-war movement... until uncle sam threw a net over my happy ass

If I want to use the term "Latte' Liberal" (which I really don't much) I most certainly WILL

I'm union... I'm left... and I'm proud

I think liberals are largely sissified chumps

how does THAT make ya feel?
