Stephanopoulos: Bill pushing Hilllary as VP - believes she "earned the offer of vice president"

Bill Clinton Pushes Hillary for Vice President
Obama Camp Resists 'Dream Ticket' Pressure; McCain's Search Continues

Bill Clinton has been Sen. Hillary Clinton's biggest booster in her presidential bid, but is now campaigning for a new job for his wife -- vice president.

...

But as the primaries are coming to an end and Clinton's chances of overtaking Obama's delegate lead dwindle, Bill Clinton has joined the Hilllary-for-Veep bandwagon, ABC News' chief Washington correspondent George Stephanopoulos reported.

"He is definitely talking it up, making no secret it would be a strong ticket for Barack Obama," Stephanopoulos reported on "Good Morning America" this morning.

The former president believes that his wife has "earned the offer of vice president," Stephanopoulos reported.

"You're also seeing Clinton supporters talking it up as well, like Sen. Feinstein of California," he said.

7. She's earned my respect. But she really wouldn't be a good fit on the ticket
Too many anti-Obama sound bites; too much blood in the sand.

3. I can see them trying to use this as a threat but Obama does'nt cave to this sort of thing
he's proven that. If he wants her, he would do it but if he doesn't there's no way he will bend for it. Any great presidential candidate would be the same way.

4. How does one 'earn' the offer of VP? By trashing Obama for months?
I have no doubt there are many Clinton supporters who are pressuring Obama's camp to put Hillary on the ticket. Bottom line though - if they force him to do it, his presidency will be crippled from day 1. She will not add anything and I've yet to see a convincing case based on FACTS that show she would.

5. Shove it, Bill!
You don't earn someone else's choice. The irony about this is that she wanted to offer him the VP position back in Mississippi. The utter arrogance and gall of the both of them.

9. she earned the VP slot by viciously attacking Obama for months on end?!?!
ridiculous

one last desperate attempt to consolidate power, one last attempt to disappoint her supporters and further alienate them when (of course) it doesn't happen

10. This is EXACTLY WHY she should not be the VP
Fucking slimeass sexual predator lying motherfucker Slick Racist Bill Goddamn Clinton has to step in when he's not welcome.

Imagine what this buzzard would do if Hillary is the VP nominee... he's whining that she deserves the VP slot... just imagine what this NAFTA-signing fuckup would do in an Obama administration.

We'd have to wipe off the STINK of the Clintons on the Obama ticket wherever we worked hard to try to get Barack elected. I also would not put it past Slick Slimefuck to derail the Obama campaign so his Goldwater Girl gets another chance in 2012.

Trust Bill Clinton like you would a rattlesnake with its fangs agape. Smash. The. Fucker. Down.

11. Hil and Bill together have "earned" contempt and nothing more.
They have lied repeatedly and refused to live up to pledges and promises made. They have repeatedly demonstrated their word is worth nothing. When they have been called on that refusal to play by the rules or even a lack of ethics they have then attacked the DNC and Dean publicly and loudly.

Hil has "earned" a one way ticket back to Little Rock along with the obscurity that will bring. She needs to take her skanky ho of a husband with her.

15. "Earned" = Stabbing in back with large knife repeatedly aiming for any organ
But luckily having no such luck. Hillary has "earned" the right to beg her constituants to give her another shot at her senate seat... and that's about it.

She has done nothing but be devisive, and drag the democrats through the mud for the past 3 months. Sorry - that doesn't "earn" you a VP spot.. it earns you nothing.

17. Making her as VP would make no sense after the arguments she has made against him
How the hell could she possibly sell him as POTUS to her die-hard supporters? Would she say that she was just lying when she said he had no experience and didn't meet the CIC threshold? Anybody else on the ticket can simply say she was wrong(which she was), but I don't see how she could do so.

a one way ticket back to her Senate seat and at some point I hope that is taken from her as well. As far as I'm concern she has earned nothing.
