Another Obama veep discussion
Option A: Hillary

This gives you women in general and esp. Hillary supporters which is good. Whether it gets you the "white working class" vote in many swing states is completely up in the air as far as I'm concerned. Operation Chaos notwithstanding, a lot of those people just voted in dem primaries because they're registered dems that vote R come general time.

Option B: Richardson

Adds hispanics into the mix and maybe some white men...not sure what else...the mountain west maybe?

Option C: Sebalius/Napolitano/Granholm/McAskill(sp?)

Gets you some of the women back except for the most staunch Hillary supporters I think. Maybe some western votes.

Option D: Webb/Zinni/Clark/white guy with military cred

You risk losing women who feel they've been slighted. Hopefully enough realize what's at stake here. Might be able to win some of the "white working class" that is part of Hillary's coalition, maybe some Reagan dems. I absolutely love Webb for this job as long as Kane picks his replacement.

Would like thoughts. :)

2. No Senators...narrows the ratio and increases Lieberman's leverage.

3. B,C,D
as long as we are not talking about Senators. Better to have a person with executive experience on the ticket. Clinton is not an option; she brings too much baggage. The GOP has been gunning for her for years, and adding her to the ticket will not bring in independents and conservatives soured on the GOP.
