Obama Hammers McCain on Cuba, Unveils Latin American Policy

In 12:30 pm ET address to the Cuban American National Foundation luncheon in Miami, Obama plans to say that McCain’s proposals for Cuba are a lot of empty rhetoric.

“Every four years, they come down to Miami, they talk tough, they go back to Washington, and nothing changes in Cuba. That’s what John McCain did the other day. He joined the parade of politicians who make the same empty promises year after year, decade after decade.”

Any time McCain stays a thousand miles away from anywhere Obama is making a public address it's preventing people from directly contrasting them, which I can't really see as being a mistake. The last thing Grumpy the Droner needs is people holding him up against Obama for comparison on that score.
