UPDATE: The Obama camp has offered the following response to Sen. Clinton's comments:
"Senator Clinton's statement before the Argus Leader editorial board was unfortunate and has no place in this campaign," said Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton.

It's exactly right, there's no place to draw these parallels that have no basis in fact. She's fear-mongering, just like her right-wing masters and advisor's are telling her to do.

Hopefully they will respond with a more detailed statement or perhaps Obama himself can throw some common-sense her way. Above all, the supers need to end it now, this is the cue for them to cut her off and end this charade.

it is that she apparently did not know the ramifications of such a statement. She apparently had no understanding of the repercussions to her own campaign...and how horribly this would be taken by the country. What this speaks to is her basic judgment about all things political and it shows how she does not comprehend the inappropriateness of her actions. No...we do not want her answering any phones at 3am.
