Why Didn't Obama Vote Yesterday?
Was he in Washington D.C.? I see that mccain didn't vote either. Seems like this was an important one, to say the least.

5. Obama flew all the way from Florida to vote on Jim Webb's GI Bill...
Edited on Fri May-23-08 05:16 PM by IanDB1
and then all the way BACK to Florida to speak to a synagogue (a couple hours later than scheduled, because the vote came up at the last minute).

Both Hillary and Obama voted for the bill.

McCain was out posing for pictures and charging $20,000 for the privilege in Arizona.

I think what you're looking at is one of the procedural votes preceding the bill.

He may have still been at the airport.

6. Pay attention much?
Geez. The news yesterday was that both Obama & Clinton voted for the G.I. Bill. Obama called McCain out for opposing the bill. McCain punked Obama because Obama has never served.

McCain was not there, so he did not vote against the G.I. bill. He attended a fundraiser instead.

That's the short of it.

McCain did not interrupt his campaign schedule to vote yesterday, a decision that drew criticism. His Democratic rivals, Sens. Barack Obama (Ill.) and Hillary Rodham Clinton (N.Y.), did vote.

"I respect Senator John McCain's service to our country," Obama said. "But I can't understand why he would line up behind the president in opposition to this G.I. Bill. I can't believe why he believes it is too generous to our veterans."

Both Senator Obama and Senator Clinton are co-sponsors of Webb's bill.

10. Why did Hillary mention Bobby Kennedy's murder?
that should be your concern. You are supporting a person who will say anything to motivate the loonies.

making McCain lash out at Obama which was a big news story earlier today before Hillary stepped into it again.
