I know she definitely used it in Time magazine in March and I believe KO had a second interview where she used it. Then he talked about 2 or 3 interviews she did without using it when referring to RFK.

Also I guess coming at this point in the campaign, as a "reason" for the campaign to go on....and after her recent 'dog whistling' -- it was the last straw. The implication just cannot be glossed over.

As Rachel Maddow said, if a gaffe, then how "weird." If deliberate, then disgusting.

Common sense should have told her to avoid making any remark that had even the slightest hint of someone getting shot.

Gaffe ... deliberate ... it doesn't really matter. The bottom line is this: if you're asked why you should remain in the race and the word "assassination" crosses your lips, it's time to go.
