I felt like I was in church tonight, and Keith Olbermann was my pastor.
He said the truth, he said it passionately, and said it convincingly. I can add nothing more.

The fact he looked like a mushroom cloud would burst forth from the top of his head with righteous outrage only awed me more.

Spot. Flippin'. On.

4. Nothing like facts, told with conviction.
If someone can excuse Hillary now, there's no hope for them.

8. You have to be Obaptized first. Again, sure doesn't seem cultist, does it?

9. Uh....and what does that have to do with KO...
...listing off time after time when HRC has shown her utter craven ambition and ability to disrespect people and throw them under the bus?

I know her legion list of failures is stunning, but no need to attack the people listening to the messenger.

Congregation, pastor and amen. .
Therefore I speak to them in parables: because they seeing
see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand

If you want to sound like a cult, I will call it.

13. I know...the death of a dream is hard to deal with, Stan...
...when you get through the stages, we'll be here. And don't worry-Obama will represent you, too.

14. Hillary will be more than happy to welcome back the wayward sheep.
They were only sheep, they didn't know. But I suspect a much higher number of the Obamessiah sheep will be unwilling to rejoin the flock. Sheep are like that.

6. Don't I know it...--
Edited on Fri May-23-08 10:23 PM by TwoSparkles
You and I were sitting in the same congregation, when O gave his most
prolific and emotional send off EVER.

I have never been so swept up in ANYTHING that any talking head has said. He literally
made my heart beat faster.

After he was finished, I then noticed that my jaw had been dropped. I have no idea when I dropped it.
He made me involuntarily drop my jaw, and who knows how long I sat there with my jaw dropped. Weird,
I know--but I've never been so moved and totally taken by a political speech.

I'm still completely blown away.

When he listed off Clinton's crimes and heinous actions, in a rapid, staccato-like fire--I felt
myself feeling more validated as he called out each infraction. I kept thinking...finally, someone
is saying these things and calling her out on them and demonstrating how sick she is and how much
we have suffered during her campaign.

We have endured...enough. Her campaign has been so over the top, and what's surreal is how the
media reports her version of reality as just another viewpoint. It's been so twisted for so long.

Keith put it all together. He validated that we have suffered and endured so much from the
Clinton campaign--and it's time that it all ended.

I'm still so amazed. Definitely one of the greatest moments in television history.

7. Ex-Actly!
When I raised my hand to the screen and whispered "AMEN", that's profound. Silly, but true.

Don't even bother with the hill supporters on this thread. Those who choose to defend this after all the tabloid shit and faux outrage they have brought to this board are showing their true colors. These are the same people complaining about sweetie gate, unfortunate baby gate, Wright gate, and let us not forget bitter gate.
