The comparison of the 2008 primary to 1968 or 1992 is bullshit of the first order
The first primary in 1968 was on March 12th. RFK didn't enter the race until March 30th. He had not captured the nomination when he was murdered. CA was a big win for him, but had he not been tragically cut down, he would have gone on fighting for the nomination.

In 1992, the NH primary wasn't until late February- closer to March 12 than to January 9. By June 1992 Bill Clinton was the undoubted nominee.

Senator Clinton knows it's bullshit to compare this primary to 1968 or 1992 in the context she's been using. She's distorting history even as she sighs about Americans not remembering history. That's wrong. And it's not minor, not even in the shadow of her crass and ugly assassination comment.

4. It's funny how much these kinds of lies bother me- but they do
I think this kind of lie is just as damning as the Bosnia thing, though it's a different kind of lie. Both are lies for political advantage.

5. I think that they are much worse
because they work to discredit the process and cannot be reversed. The following was not well received because the analogy was so strong but I believe the events of today actually proved it.

7. I think her point was
nobody dropped out in '68 while there were still primaries left - even after Bobby was assassinated. Gene McCarthy insisted he would not drop out even before the assassination.

I agree with your take - the primaries had only gone on for a few months when June rolled around. But does that really matter?
