4. No kidding
I didn't realize he would be there this weekend. Hillary's there, too. LOL - I guess if she can follow him to Florida, he can follow her to PR.

9. Will Obama express the same outrage seen here?
Stay tuned, although being that Obama has class, I doubt he will.

12. I just learned how poor the veterans are treated in Puerto Rico
some of those questions (actually they sounded more like lengthy monologues) were hard to stomach. I like Obama's idea of expanding the number of clinics for veterans in Puerto Rico as well as improving its veterans' hospital.

17. It sounded as if many were just glad someone was there listening to them
They serve this country, they are part of this country but have no representation... their situation sounds quite sad from the questions....

19. Great point
Their questions were more like conversations. It's clear that they feel that their government has not been responding to their needs.

15. I really enjoy
watching the interaction Barack has with the folks after the formal session.
When he speaks with someone, his total attention seems to be on them,
great eye contact which portrays genuine interest.

24. I was in Puerto Rico with my family last month.
I am so thrilled Obama is there. It's a wonderful place with wonderful people. I am hopeful they will respond well to him! :) Also, as an aside, there was a woman who sat near me on the plane who had an Obama pin on. She looked like she might have worked for the campaign.
