Three Times Is Not A Gaff
I've really been wondering about this, the fact that she made mention using the same statement several times leaves many to believe that she herself knew very well in doing so would constitute it not being a mistake..

I have pondered it long and thoughtfully and I have come up with this conclusion....obviously as with others on this board it is nothing more than a personal opinion as to a reason why someone says what they do...

First, I still have yet to be convinced that her motives were pure evil in any way shape or form..

Second...after coming to the first conclusion doing a little bit of studying on speeches etc by candidates during campaigns I have realized that that particular comment was and is not her own, it was written for her and as ALL candidates are apt to do, the commentary is repeated word for word with a few changes here and there time after time and in revenue after revenue...

I do believe that the point was that primaries do and have gone on through June....the fact that such a horrific even happened in that particular month is nothing more than a historical fact and you must live in the Amazon region if you are unaware of it..

I am making no excuses honestly. I have no huge stake in the game, I am just trying to be fair and I think we all should attempt the same thing...

If we really desire change than how about we do what one poster specified is the greatest way to teach...and that is by "example''''and in this he is obviously right....

If you truly want change from what we have had to deal with these past ten horrific years than you yourself should prove you want this by showing us we are not going to end up doing the same exact things that those we no longer wish to rule continue to do.

Granted, Sen Clinton has alot of baggage that many can cry foul about, but at least, let us not make up things, honestly there is no need and is exactly what our enemies to democracy have been doing for years....

Your choice.

2. I mentioned this a few months ago (threadlocked) because I saw the CYNICISM of their
continuing campaign when they knew shortly after Super Tuesday that Obama had won the nomination math.

They knew because McClatchy had surveyed the supers and they were overwhelmingly in Obama's column though unwilling to go public till HRC was out of the race (maybe Clintons are vengeful like Bushes, eh).

So, it was obvious their cynicsm extended to the fact that there would be targets drawn on Obama by the various racists who do not draw the line at violence.

I never implied they would seek to assure it happened, but that their opportunism and their view of the American people was so cynical that it was partly driving their decision to STAY in the race.

But, reading the Clintons clearly and comprehensively has also received a lot of flak here at DU in the past - but, it looks like more Dems are opening their eyes. For that I am grateful. Though sorry it has to come at such high price to the discourse.
