on "saving it for mccain"

one of the most irritating memes, no matter who it is coming from, is the suggestion that we are wasting our energy on _____ (D) when we should "save" it for mccain (R). not that i am of the mind that it is acceptable to "praise" an (R) over a (D), but to deem (D) infallible is to adopt blind allegiance akin to nationalism.

we aren't designed with a limited capacity for critical thought, insight, or outrage- these characteristics aren't necessarily inherent, and some of us may be lacking there, but calling out two candidates is not an endeavor that requires a designated amount of gas or energy.

this is not a game with two "teams." i'm not rooting for the saints over the patriots, or the hornets over the spurs- i'm rooting for a restoration of the constitutional democracy, an end to war, and an end to lying manipulation perpetual obfuscation secrecy hegemony xenophobia state sponsored torture and so on and so forth.

and as long as there are (officially) two competing for the nomination, there will be heat on the one who seen to be obstructing the process- especially when said (D) continuously makes egregious "errors." i don't need to "save" any gusto for mccain- there is plenty outrage in my person- a decade's worth, well-prepared for him.

(D) does not require blind allegiance. (D) does not indicate "infallible." (D) does not deserve a free pass every. single. time.

that is all.
