I picked up my precinct captain packets for two new turfs - 103 homes.
I'm heading out now to Billings west side with a friend to knock on doors.

It's the wealthy part of town (I recognize many of the names as car dealers and doctors).
I'll update you tonight.

Have a great memorial day weekend all!

:)

3. Agreed. I'm ready to move on.
Seems like half the messages around here are about what Clinton said.

The way I see it, she doesn't think words matter anyway, so what would you expect. :)

4. This will work out however it works out
But I, too, think we have other things to be doing. We have a president to elect.

5. I was at my parents' house once --
a brick colonial in an upscale neighborhood -- and a bedraggled, tired, doorbeller-for-Mondale came to the door. She asked, in a weary voice, "are you supporting Reagan or Mondale?" I said "Mondale!!". Her eyes flew open, she looked at me in surprise, stepped back and eyed the house and said "Wow. You're the first person I've talked to in a brick house that isn't supporting Reagan!" My dad was supporting Mondale, too, and we won't talk about my mom's misguided support.

So - the moral of the story is hit all the houses on your route -- even the brick ones!

Let us know how it goes, and thank you for doing this! :hi:

9. Are you software?
Because any sentient being would realize this comment of yours has nothing to do with the OP.

11. No one is accusing her of making a threat

But I don't think she gets a free pass on it either. It was either an intentional reference to the assassination for nefarious reasons or it was a colossal error in judgment. Neither speaks well of her.

How many "gaffes" does she get a free pass on? Most male candidates get one and then they're bounced. Apparently female candidates get a gaffe a week -- talk about sexism.

She has a campaign-long history of saying something that shows incredibly poor judgment, then issuing a feckless apology, which is too late because she's already dumped the poison in the well and you can't get it out.

Had Obama said that he wanted to be Hillary's VP because "after all, JFK was killed in office," the Hillbots would be shrieking and banging their walkers on the floor demanding his head.

10. I'm bitterly clinging to this until the danger is passed
I guess I'm a latte drinking liberal who is clinging to
my fears that Hillary is telling the unhinged to hurry up and
clear the way for her.

12. I do not take her at her word. No more free passes for her.
She needs to apologize to Obama and get out of the race. I'll move on when she stops holding the party hostage with threats of a convention fight.

14. we cannot let this just "go away"
because fact is fact. She is a delusional, pathological liar! She'll do ANYTHING along with Bill to get the presidency.

I'll vote for Sen. Gravel before I'd ever vote for her. I am very glad I don't live in New York.

Maybe Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. will be her contender for the senate seat dare I suggest.

Run Bobby Run!!!
