"somebody aimed a gun at him [Obama]... and he dove for the floor."
"That was Barack Obama," Huckabee said. "He just tripped off a chair. He was getting ready to speak. Somebody aimed a gun at him and he ... he dove for the floor."

hahahahaha that is just so funny!!! i can't stand it.

"I would say to him don't stand in a dark corner when you hear a gun is going off. It's dangerous there." -- Gore Vidal

hmmmmm, just a friendly warning?

"My husband did not wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the California primary somewhere in the middle of June, right?" she told the Sioux Falls Argus Leader. "We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California. You know, I just, I don't understand it."

I'm damn tired of people implying that it is OK to keep alluding to him being assassinated...

Damn tired of people that refuse to see that this is NOT the place to be referencing an assassination as justification for Hillary to continue in a race that she has almost NO mathematical way of winning just waiting for some 'disaster' to befall her opponent. It is a sick comment she made, and it is part of a larger theme. To think that she couldn't make her point about long primaries without injecting that awful scenario into her comments is pure *stick your fingers in your ears and repeat 'LALALALALALALALA I can't hear you'* stubbornness.

I'll tell you what, if the SS can keep * alive for the past 8 years, they DAMN WELL better be able to keep O alive, and if they don't.... well, i for one am not going to believe the 'you just can't be prepared for every possibility' BS i would expect from them.

2. It's bizarre that both a Repub and a Dem candidate brought up assassination this year.
Why? Did Gary Hart bring up assassination in 1984? Did Bill Clinton or Ross Perot, in 1992? Did either Bush? Did Dick Gephart, or Al Gore? Did John Kerry, or John Edwards, or Howard Dean, or Wes Clark in 2004? Why is the reference to guns and assassinations popping out of candidates' mouths THIS YEAR??? We all know why.
