Dowd said, "I think we learned something very interesting in this exchange. For one thing, McCain really doesn't like Obama and he thinks that he's the punk who hasn't bled, as McCain people like to say it. And doesn't deserve to be in this arena.

The ousters of some of the staff members came after Mr. McCain imposed a new policy that active lobbyists would not be allowed to hold paying jobs in the campaign.

Obama set a policy from the start that lobbyists would not hold positions in his campaign.

He won't even accept donations from them.
(One DU'er here, who does lobbying for a non profit organization, had his donation returned from the Obama campaign with an apology.)

1. Obama is a bigger hero than mccain
mccain was a prisoner and we feel for that. in fact, we have tried to overlook so much of his righwing bullshit because of that legacy.

Obama has also suffered as an African American through discrimination and racism. He had an absent father. His accomplishments have been through his talent and hardwork. He is a brave man.

Now contrast that to the slimeball bush who has left a path of destruction everywhere he's walked. bush and his group are a useless waste.
