Obama picked up 2 pledged delegates from Hillary yesterday
Georgia and Alaska certified their elections and both states took a pledged from the H column and moved it to the O column. Wyoming's results didn't change.

On top of that, Alaska added 1 Obama addon, Georgia 1 Obama and 1 Clinton and Wyoming 1 Obama.

Final Count for the day: Obama = +5 Clinton = -1

3. It should be a stampede at this point.
The delegates know who is going to be President.

If I were one of them I'd want to get on board NOW.

5. With the results of yesterday, it is down to 49 and Hawaii picks 3 today
So I will say 46 remaining going into the holiday tomorrow.

16. Heya!
I just cross referenced against TGP. Can you tell me which states are different in the pledged counts?

17. I found 2. I am counting the switchers in DC and MD
But I don't think DCW is recognizing those.

And updated for the extra D he picked up in Alaska -- which I can't tell if they have that one yet?

Thats where the 3 are off, I believe.

20. Thanks for checking that.
The other one may be either Georgia (just changed that today CD-2, I believe) from TGP, or possibly Iowa as I can't make heads nor tails out of their reporting.

We were synced up about 2 weeks ago, so I am tending to think it was one of the convention final counts that may be off (pledged only).

My super delegate count comes from DCW, so I know that is in sync.

Newsweek has Clinton added one and lost one. Where's the other loss?

Yaul, a question on your maps for the GE: Are you factoring negative press coverage in any of the states Obama lost?

I was wondering if voters' change of heart was a fair or possible thing to track at this point.

10. I'm not tracking any projections -- only cross reporting results
Edited on Sun May-25-08 03:02 PM by Yael
After every state convention, I go over to The Green Papers and update the final pledged delegate counts to the 2 links in my signature.

On the Supers, I am just cross reporting what DemConWatch has out, usually daily, and adding those updates.

The reason is to track results by state on one graph in the one link and the other, I was asked to volunteer as a Sysop on the Wiki that tracks whether the delegates are voting with the voters or not.

Edit to add -- one was 'lost' in GA and one in AK. If you know which states they are reporting, I can cross check to see where the miss match is.

19. It was in Newsweek
Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton each picked up a delegate in Georgia on Saturday as state Democrats selected their delegation to the party's national convention in Denver this summer.

Obama picked up another superdelegate later Saturday in Wyoming, then one more in Alaska. Obama also took a pledged delegate from Clinton at Alaska's Democratic party convention Saturday.

That brings Obama's overall delegates to 1,974 — only 52 shy of the 2,026 needed to secure the presidential nomination — to Clinton's 1,779.

The two add-on delegates in Georgia are state party secretary Stephen Leeds, an Obama supporter, and Verna Cleveland, who was Clinton's Georgia state director.

The add-on in Wyoming was state Rep. W. Patrick Goggles, who told the Associated Press after his selection that he will support Obama at the convention.

In Alaska, former Gov. Tony Knowles said he would support Obama for president.

21. I believe CD-2 in Georgia also flipped a delegate from HRC to BO
But then again, it depends on where Newsweek had the count prior to the convention. They may have already given it to him.

thegreenpapers.com is the most accurate of any of the news organizations as they are going to the level or reporting not only by district, but naming the delegates that have been chosen.

It seems the media is just looking at state totals.
