2. Yes.
He will attract a significant amount of support in some states. And it will not be limited to Paul supporters.

I hope he is included in one or more of the debates. He will get under McCain's skin, and cause him to lose his temper.

From what I have seen of Barr on TV, he comes across as a personable man, one who would appear to be reasonable compared to hot-headed McCain.

6. His career before
serving in Congress included being trained in confrontational debating tactics. He looks to throw his opposition off balance.

There is strong Ron Paul support in northwest Arkansas. I know my boss and co-worker will not vote for a black man or a woman, so I haven't been trying to change their minds about that, much to their great surprise. Instead, I've talked up the Libertarian Party and Barr. They have been listening, especially when I mention that Barr and Paul believe basically the same things. I emphasize the importance of sending a message to the GOP that McCain and his type aren't what conservatives want.
