3. McCain really sucks in debates
I watched the youtube of the McCain-Keyes-Bush debate back in 2000 and Bush actually sounds smarter than McCain, and Keyes is smarter than both of them combined.

7. McCain's two cards to play in debates
is to invoke his war experience when he's uncomfortable addressing an issue (like he did with the GI bill) and also to claim privacy, that something is none of your business. In the Keyes-McCain-Bush debate in 2000, Keyes criticized McCain's position on abortion. McCain had said that he was pro-life, but that he thinks his daughter should be able to choose whether or not she wants an abortion. Keyes jumped on that and rhetorically asked how could McCain grant his daughter a right that he wanted to take away from every other American. McCain's crafty response? That he had seen enough death in during his lifetime, so he wasn't going to be lectured about death by Keyes? I was like, what?!? What the hell does his war experience have to do with his abortion position? What an idiot! I know that technically they both involve death by his definition, but that was really stretching it. I'm sure that Obama's campaign has watched McCain's old debates and now know how predictable he is in them.

8. It would be even better in a REAL debate
ala Lincoln-Douglas instead of these pre-screened question and answer dog and pony shows they call debates today. I would probably die laughing as McCain loses it every which way in that kind of debate.

5. I'll love to see Obama's hands untied as they have been to date for Hillary.
McCain is in for a surprise!

9. Just do it
McCain's open season started after the 50 delegates to go line was crossed.
