It's got to be a factor of three or four times as much as the prior record for the most money spent in a failed primary bid, right?

2. I suspect this is part of "closing the deal" issues; no one's beaten an opponent who spent so much.

3. She has been tebacious beyond the point of rationality. That's a passion we should tap but NOT as VP

4. Wasn't Romney's expense record even worse??
Did he even get any delegates?

Of course, at least it was mostly all his money.

5. Romney spend a ton, but I don't think he spent even half of what Hillary has spent (I think Giuliani
also spent a ton, but less than Romney or Hillary).

8. Didn't Bill Richardson spend more that Giuliani on a per-delegate basis?
I thought that Richardson spent nearly as much as Hillary and Obama in Iowa and New Hampshire on TV spots

6. Per Delegate
Rudy G will hold the record for a while. I think it was 50 million for 1 delegate.

Mittens spent around 100 million but got around 200 delegates so it was 500,000 per delegate which is a deal compared to Rudy.

7. Plenty of campaigns have spent substantial sums and never won a single delegate. Has anyone ever
beaten an opponent who spent even one third as much as Hillary?

I think it bodes well for Obama that he has beaten a candidate who has spent so much -- more than any unsuccessful primary opponent ever. I'm just wondering what fraction of Hillary's budget was the previous record for an unsuccessful primary campaign.

9. Well, she allegedly has millions of supporters (aka Chumps) to bail her out.
There doing such a swell job of financing her campaign now....aren't they?
