10. And yet those despicable posts remain up and unlocked, and they remain here throwing insults
at our heroes of WWII and using the Holocaust to smear Obama.

3. It was the RNC who launched the attack. And here I thought it was just Vietnam vets
who could be smeared. Now it is liberators of Nazi concentration camps who get smeared. Swiftboating WWII style.

6. I meant the DUers who picked it up
Because most of the time I have no clue what the right wing is saying unless I see somebody scream about it here... or, sadly, repeat it.

because he said it would make him sick to see it.

7. My uncle was on Ike's staff in WWII
He wrote my aunt in a letter that Ike made all of the soldiers go to see the concentration camps, because he knew that someone, sooner or later, would deny that it happened.

8. That's a photo of Americans forcing German locals to view what their country did.
People say the stench made it impossible to deny it happened. We learn so little from the past.

14. Eleven million human beings. Murdered. Exterminated.
Nothing but OBJECTS to a regime obsessed with wealth and power. The ultimate evil is such objectification of human beings. It's NOT simply about religion or race or gender or sexual orientation or nationality. It's anytime we treat one another (or ourselves) as a means to an end instead of an end in ourselves.

It's about damned time we got off our high horses about our own self-serving brand of objectification, whether it's gays railing against homophobia or women railing against sexism or Jews railing against antisemitism or blacks railing against racism or older people railing against ageism or any other self-proclaimed victimization (and fuck the others), and get a fucking clue.

We have an immigration 'system' which is almost nothing but a system in Trafficking in Human Labor ... and the fascist TYRANTS want us to fragment in victimization camps that allow that abomination to continue. When human labor is treated as a commodity, we have lost our souls. Again. It's the common element ... from the Egyptian Pharaohs to the Nazi Labor Camps to the Soviet gulags to now. All forms of human objectification lead to that same evil.

15. I believe that the occasion of that photograph was, when the local US commander
ordered the inhabitants of the nearby countryside to "make a tour" of the camp" --- the one so many staunchly claimed to be unaware of. Notice that many were averting their eyes.
