Just remember, they're are usually ample 3rd party options for you (we usually have about 10 options, plus a write-in). You don't need to validate the 3rd Bush term.

And, if need be, I suggest you write in HRC instead. Just think - imagine the bold, signal it will send the country if Hillary grabs a large chunk of the votes despite not being on the ballot. Yeah, think about it.

2. I am certainly considering a write in for JE - being from
Florida and a second-class citizen in the eyes of the DNC . . .

I really can't believe you guys. I have huge issues with Hillary, but I AM A DEMOCRAT!. If she were the nom, she would have my vote.
Is your skin so thin that a hard fought and contentious campaign will make you drop your party's nom ??? WOW!!!

6. I agree about not voting for McCain, but...
Edited on Tue May-27-08 06:36 PM by Kutjara
...voting for third party candidates in preference to the Democratic contender will have much the same effect. Splitting the progressive vote among a number of candidates, while the Republicans all vote for 'their boy,' will make the GOP's job so much easier.

The only sane solution to the mess we're in is to vote for whoever the Democratic primary process chooses. It may be a bitter pill, but think of the alternative.

If you can vote for Clinton, you sure as hell can vote for Obama;

If you can vote for Obama, you sure as hell can vote for Clinton.

I'm not attacking you, sniffa. Far from it; I admire the irenic sanity of your post.

However, stated in a non-irenic way: your post should be a plea for people to pull their heads out of their asses.

19. Well..
Think about it.

:o

Seriously, they should think about the strong message it would send to write in HRC or HJS, and have a tiny fraction of the electorate voting for someone not on the ballot.
