the calendar...

the funniest thing about the Bill theory is...I was off work for a couple of days last week and watched MSNBC (which is supposedly the media outlet "most biased" against her, right?) all day long. The quinnipiac polls where Hillary was beating Barack was literally one of the number one stories, and discussed every news hour. Likewise, I saw them discussed on Morning Joe, Race to the White House, Hardball, and Dan Abrams. On the other hand, contrary to Bills' "theory", I never saw the polls in which Obama beats McCain in places like Ohio reported on, unless it is brought up by a random surrogate.

7. Yes the WORLD is turning against you.
All the reliable liberal voices have turned against her.

Not because of your candidates poor campaign. Not because she is negative campaigner. Not because she is a corporate hack.

Only because she is a WOMAN and a CLINTON and everyone hates her.

:sarcasm:

10. Actually
some do. Jon Stewart and Colbert are among my main news sources.

Don't worry - they will be going after Obama soon. His campaign is full of amusing comedy material.
He is very risible. And full of it.

And - for your information - I see all of Hillary's faults and failings. I still think she is a stronger candidate than Obama who I will wholeheartedly support if he is the democratic nominee.

11. I'm a Clinton supporter, and I watch him.
Just because I don't agree with what or who he's dressing down doesn't mean I can't be entertained by the program.

Besides - who said he's always right, anyway?

13. Stewart has made mincemeat
of Obama's pretentions many times.

Although I do assume he prefers Obama to Clinton and either of them to (friend-of-the-show) McCain and certainly Bush.

40. Honestly, Stewart probably doesn't think particularly highly of any of them
His audience obviously prefers Obama, which is not surprising given the demographics. He made some positive remarks when Obama gave his speech about race. But honestly he knows that all politicians are full of crap at some point and he's mostly concerned with mocking them for it.

37. i love that song
You never close your eyes anymore
When I kiss your lips
And there's no tenderness like before
In your fingertips
You're trying hard not to show it (baby)
But baby, baby I know it

You've lost that fudgy feeling
Woah, that fudgy feeling
You've lost that fudgy feeling
Now it's gone, gone, gone woah

Now there's no welcome look in your eyes
When I reach for you
And you've started to criticize
All the little things I do
It makes me feel like crying
Cause baby' something beautiful's dying

You've lost that fudgy feeling
Woah, that fudgy feeling
You've lost that fudgy feeling
Now it's gone, gone, gone, woah

Baby, baby
I'd get down on my knees for you
If you'd only love me
Like the way you used to do
We had a love, a love
A love you don't find every day
So don't, don't, don't
Please don't take it away

Baby (baby)
Baby (baby)
I need your love (I need your love)
I need your love (ooooh)
Bring it on back (ooooh)
Bring it on back

Bring back that fudgy feeling
Woah, that fudgy feeling
Bring back that fudgy feeling
Before it's gone, gone, gone
And I can't go on, woah

You've lost that fudgy feeling
Woah, that fudgy feeling
You've lost that fudgy feeling
Now it's gone, gone, gone, woah

ahh thos guys could write back then

45. That they could.
But it's not as good as Marvin Gaye:

Ooh, now let's get down tonight
Baby I'm hot just like an oven
I need some lovin'
And baby, I can't hold it much longer
It's getting stronger and stronger
And when I need some healing
I want that Fudgy Feeling
That Fudgy Feeling, oh baby
Makes me feel so fine
Helps to relieve my mind
That Fudgy Feeling baby, is good for me
That Fudgy Feeling is something that's good for me
Whenever blue tear drops are falling
And my emotional stability is leaving me
There is something I can do
I can get on the telephone and call you up baby, and
Honey I know you'll be there to relieve me
The love you give to me will free me
If you don't know the things you're dealing
I can tell you, darling, that it's That Fudgy Feeling
Get up, Get up, Get up, Get up, let's make love tonight
Wake up, Wake up, Wake up, Wake up, 'cos you do it right
Baby I got sick this morning
A sea was storming inside of me
Baby I think I'm capsizing
The waves are rising and rising
And when I need some healing
I want That Fudgy Feeling
That Fudgy Feeling is good for me
Makes me feel so fine, it's such a rush
Helps to relieve the mind, and it's good for us
That Fudgy Feeling, baby, is good for me
They Fudgy Feeling is something that's good for me
And it's good for me and it's good to me
My baby ohhh
Come take control, just grab a hold
Of my body and mind soon we'll be making it
Honey, oh we're feeling fine
You're my medicine open up and let me in
Darling, you're so great
I can't wait for you to operate
I can't wait for you to operate
When I need some healing, I want That Fudgy Feeling

But - seriously - cut the ageist crap.

Lighten up, Francis.

Easy on the insulting accusations. Hell, I'm having a hard time keeping track of all the people DU'ers tell me I hate. Lets see.. seniors, women (especially white women), myself, people of Color who vote for Hillary, poor people, uneducated people....

damn. I need to make a list.

33. Agism? I thought it was because they were so young.
That's who I think of when you say an early bedtime. I'm 62 and my bedtime is 2 a.m. right now. Of course it is that time because that is when my daughter goes to bed, and she insists on sharing a bedroom with me just in case I die during the night. ;) We have another bedroom that sits empty because she really is afraid something will happen to me in the night. I tell her she is worrying in vain, but she is as hard headed as I am. If I had my own room, I am sure I would go to bed earlier, say at midnight or abouts.

Stewart is willing and able to take on any government stupidity. The downside for Stewart, of course, will be that not much can beat the wealth of stupidity that Bushco had to offer.
