I think everyone knew that something was not right when Colin Powell resigned. There must have been some shady business to cause him to leave so abruptly.

4. Just saw on CNN about 10 minutes ago
That the Presidential Spokesliar also says in the book that the Iraq War was unjustified.

Maybe he's still trying to get mommy that Congressional job she's been trying to get elected to.

6. This man, unwittingly or not, sold those lies to the American people on a daily basis.
The burden of guilt must be astounding.

I don't feel one ounce of sorrow.

Scott spent most of his days looking like he just took a shit in his pants, and I think he's part of the reason that public doubt was so high with the Iraq War. The guy simply couldn't sell anything coming out of the White House as credible. Tony Snow at least knew how to bring the lie home in a convincing way. Too bad for them he took the job a bit too late.

16. White House: McClellan is ‘disgruntled’
Edited on Wed May-28-08 05:56 PM by mystieus
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24856034/

WASHINGTON - The White House blasted former press secretary Scott McClellan, claiming Wednesday that his new book about President Bush and the Iraq war showed that McClellan was a “disgruntled” former employee.

“Scott, we now know, is disgruntled about his experience at the White House,” press secretary Dana Perino said in a statement. “For those of us who fully supported him, before, during and after he was press secretary, we are puzzled. It is sad — this is not the Scott we knew.”

David Gregory tried to defend the media but Chris Matthews put him in his place.. we were used!!!
