It is Clear that Hillary Clinton isnt Running for Vice President
She and her husband are basically declaring Obama unelectable in their new talking point. She isnt running a positive campaign like some have said she would or should. She is running a campaign in which she protests that she is much stronger and when she says that we dont want to go all this way to lose...is declaring that she believes Obama cant win.

Obama doesnt need her on the ticket. She and her husband are a pariahs and putting her on the ticket will haunt Obama for a long time. Bill is even declaring that the election was stolen from her...WTF?

1. It wouldn't surprise me to see her running for the GOP nomination
the next time around.

3. It wouldn't surprise me to see her mount a Third-Party run... right now,in 2008.
Sure sounds like she and Bill are writing "the founding myth" even as we speak.

4. They have no cash....
Nada, zilch.... even the most rabid supporters are not
filling in the great needs. Third party run Can't happen..

AND by defecting to an independant party run,
Bill's legacy will be smoke... not good politic.

5. That was the same argument I used against Lieberman's independent run.
I thought and argued that he had no cash, that there is no "independent party" that could fund his campaign, that it would be bad politics to completely destroy his legacy/reputation in the Democratic party.

I didn't count on the RNC stepping in and lending Lieberman a hand.

Just sayin'.

6. If she does the second of my three *guesses* about this election will come true...
Edited on Wed May-28-08 09:29 AM by junofeb
1)Paul will be a force to be reckoned with.
2)Hillary will not get the dem nom and will do a Lieberman.
3)Third party candidates with some real legs (like Barr is currently) are going to come out of the woodwork. We will see more of them as the summer goes on.

I should put this in my journal and we can see how good I am at prediction. :D

PS I orginally had these thoughts at the beginning of the year. I mentioned them, but I have no idea where they were originally posted.

7. LOL! She has the support of about half the Democratic party and you call her a "pariah"?
Please try to get out of this pro-0bama echo chamber occasionally.

You need to accept that she does have that much support among Democrats, no matter how much you hate her.

9. How is she helping?
honest question. I simply don't understand what she's trying to accomplish and how it will help the Dems win in November. please explain it to me like I just stepped off the little bus, because I'm puzzled and it's frustrating.

15. We'll never know exactly how many "Limbaugh-Effect" votes she received.
It's certainly worth mentioning.

20. Its a little worse than that.
The people who own the DLC/Clintons also own the Republican Party.
If Hillary can't win the nomination outright, their owners would prefer a Business as Usual Republican.

Hillary will stay in as long as possible, and do as much damage to Obama as possible in order to help the other "Business as Usual" candidate...McCain.
