Is it unpatriotic to be 100% loyal to a leader or a political Party ??

I notice that many of the Repubs are throwing McClelland overboard this morning because he said some things about Bush and this White House that were less than flattering. To most of them, he is a traitor. Loyalty to George W Bush is more important than the truth, especially if the truth reflects negatively on their leader. Are there folks good citizens? Are they patriotic?

In my opinion, they are not patriotic citizens. They would prefer the nation go under than to criticize one of their own or to admit the truth. They don't want to hear the truth about the war in Iraq. They don't want to hear the truth about the Plame affair. They don't want to hear the truth about spying on American citizens. They don't want to hear about torturing people, contrary to law and all human decency. And they accuse others of being traitors to this country. If you can't support their war, then you can't support the troops. You must 100% loyalist or you are not a good American.
