Proof That Hillary Is The Better Candidate - She Is Intimidating Limbaugh
Hillary has submitted a letter to the DNC explaining why she is the stronger candidate. In particular, she relies on certain polls showing that she leads in battle with John McCain. Also, other DU'rs point out that Obama has not been properly vetted whereas the right wing and the Obama campaign have nothing left to throw at Hillary.

As further irefutable proof regarding why Hillary is a stronger candidate, I offer Fox News and Rush Limbaugh's websites. Notice they have nothing to say about Hillary. Nothing. This means that they have nothing to say if Hillary were the nominee.

http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/today.guest.html

http://www.foxnews.com/hannityandcolmes/

Unlike Obama, who is getting pounded by Fox and Rush, Hillary would cruise to the Presidency, because unlike Obama, she has less weaknesses. Hillary's letter lays out the argument, and these links to conservative websites confirm that Hillary is the better candidate.

Indeed, as Bill points out, Hillary has been unfairly targeted by the press, and despite this obvious bias, Rush and Sean Hannity can't say squat to ding Hillary, yet despite the infatuation with Obama, there are still obvious attacks on Obama at outlined in these websites.

5. They say nothing about Hillary because she will not be the nominee.
Not because they have nothing.

Good god. Limpballs made his name hating Clinton's, he wants nothing more than to get to hate Clinton's for another year or four years, it would be good for his ratings. If you think Limpballs and ilk have nothing to say about the Clinton's, you are badly mistaken. And, I think you know it.

15. Hillary's Letter and The Proof I Provide
Edited on Wed May-28-08 01:57 PM by Median Democrat
Here is an excerpt of Hillary's letter:

"Recent polls and election results show a clear trend: I am ahead in states that have been critical to victory in the past two elections," Clinton writes in a letter to these superdelegates. "From Ohio, to Pennsylvania, to West Virginia and beyond, the results of recent primaries in battleground states show that I have strong support from the regions and demographics Democrats need to take back the White House. I am also currently ahead of Senator McCain in Gallup national tracking polls, while Senator Obama is behind him. And nearly all independent analyses show that I am in a stronger position to win the Electoral College, primarily because I lead Senator McCain in Florida and Ohio."

I merely provided evidence showing why Hillary is the better candidate, and why she is ahead. As noted by another poster, Limbaugh hates Hillary. Yet, he is left speechless. He can't say squat. Thus, the Democratic Party should nominate Hillary, because unlike Obama who the right wing press will chew on and spit out, the right wing has exausted all the bad things it can say about about her. This must be the reason why nothing is being said on these conservative websites against Hillary. They have nothing more to say.

The power and passion that Hillary inspires in her followers will be on full display on May 31st when Hillary brings her Million woman march to the steps of the DNC meeting at the Marriot. Indeed, I think Hillary should wear yellow, ala Cory Aquino (another first time woman President) as a reference to people power) or perhaps white in reference to the white working class voters who support her.

17. Well part of that popular vote she touts is from Republican Cross-over voters
that Limbaugh helped deliver to her and will never vote for her if she is the nominee so it makes sense she uses them as evidence. Here is more evidence from Limbaugh:

▪ What might have actually happened in Ohio and Texas? Tin foil hat?
▪ Clip:
: "Rush, I understand that the Rush Limbaugh audience is mobilizing in Texas for Hillary. Am I hearing that right?"

: "I don't know if the audience is mobilizing or not. I am urging people — I am using a phrase — the Republicans — our nominee is chosen. It's John McCain.

Texas is open. And I want Hillary to stay in this, Laura. This is too good a soap opera. We need Barack Obama bloodied up politically, and it's obvious that the Republicans are not going to do it and don't have the stomach for it.

As you probably know, we're getting all kinds of memos from the RNC saying not to be critical there. Mark MacKinnon of McCain's campaign says he'll quit if they get critical over Obama.

This is the presidency of the United States you're talking about. I want our party to win. I want the Democrats to lose. They're in the midst of tearing themselves apart right now. It is fascinating to watch, and it's all going to stop if Hillary loses.

So yes, I'm asking to cross over and, if they can stomach it — I know it's a difficult thing to do to vote for a Clinton — but it will sustain this soap opera, and it's something I think we need. It would be fun, too."

Can GOP Voters Spoil the Dem Race?

Wednesday, Mar. 19, 2008By HILARY HYLTON/AUSTIN

As if Democrats didn't have enough problems deciding upon their presidential nominee this year, now they must contend with the possibility that Republicans are deliberately crossing party lines to prolong the bitterly contested race between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. In recent weeks, conservative talk radio stars Rush Limbaugh and Laura Ingraham have urged loyal listeners to vote for the much-despised Clinton in open Democratic primaries so as to prevent Obama from sealing the nomination, and there are some indications that their calls have already been heeded in states like Texas and Mississippi.

Even in the crucial swing state of Pennsylvania, where the April 22 primary is closed to independents and Republicans, there are signs that some Republicans are going so far as to switch their party registration by the March 24 deadline to participate in what Limbaugh has dubbed "Operation Chaos." In the last five months, there has been a 2.2% increase in the number of registered Democrats in Pennsylvania versus a tiny dip of 0.12% in Republican numbers. Veteran Pennsylvania pollster Terry Madonna expects some 100,000 new Democrats to vote on April 22, about 5% of the total expected to vote. In historic Gettysburg, Adams County Elections Supervisor Monica Dutko told the local newspaper, The YorkDaily Record, she was a seeing an unprecedented steady stream of switchers, some of whom volunteered they were changing registration from Republican to Democrat at the urging of Limbaugh.

Madonna, however, believes most of those new Dems will go for Obama, which goes against the Limbaugh conspiracy theory. It is also exactly what the upstart candidate himself has been working toward. Obama, who until recently was winning the lion's share of Republican votes in open Democratic primaries, is running radio ads in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia calling on voters to register as Democrats this week.
The first clue that Republicans might be making this kind of mischief came in the crucial Texas primary on March 4, a contest that most observers claimed Clinton had to win — along with Ohio — to keep alive her hopes for the nomination. Dave Mann, a political writer for the progressive Texas Observer, was driving to Fort Worth on that primary day when he heard various callers to the Laura Ingraham radio show claiming they had followed her and Limbaugh's call. One even admitted he would now have to go to confession and repent his sins. As he listened, Mann dismissed the idea that Republicans would have a significant impact on the Democratic outcome in Texas.

42. Exactly - Hillary, Not Obama, Is The Real Unity Candidate
Barack Obama likes to say that he represents a new politics that transcends race. However, as the Indiana primary demonstrates, it was Hillary, not Obama, who proved successful in capturing significant numbers of votes from people who identified themselves as "very conservative."

Obama supporters often characterize themselves as "liberal." However, Hillary was able to capture a significant number of votes from long time Republicans who re-registered shortly before the Indiana primary in order to cast votes for Hillary Clinton. Many of these formerly registered Republican voters often acknowledged that they were still avid listeners of right wing talk show host, Rush Limbaugh.

Thus, as Indiana demonstrates, Hillary (not Obama) is the true candidate that can bring together voters from opposite ends of political spectrum to support her candidacy.

An Obama-Hater for Clinton, Temporarily
BY JASON HOROWITZ | MARCH 5, 2008 |

Meet Todd Appelbaum, a 46-year-old from Columbus, who wore a shirt that says “Osama for Obama” to the Clinton campaign’s election-night event in Ohio last night.
The white t-shirt, with an image of Barack Obama dressed in traditional Somali garb, is adorned with a blue Hillary Clinton button, although Appelbaum is not what one would call a real Hillary Clinton supporter.
“I voted for Hillary today,” he said, “because I’m concerned that, God forbid, Barack Obama will beat McCain. The enemy of my enemy is my friend.”

http://www.observer.com/2008/obama-hater-clinton-temporarily

SAD THAT THIS DESPICABLE INDIVIDUAL WASN'T EVEN ASKED TO LEAVE THE CLINTON EVENT AND WAS ALLOWED TO SPEAK TO REPORTERS WITH HIS OFFENSIVE TEE IN FULL VIEW.

I tried a similar piece with the Million Man and Woman march, which ended up with about 170+ response. A few folks got that I was going for satire, but for the most part it became a giant flame war as folks debated the size of the expected turnout with Obama supporters accusing me of being a member of Operation Chaos. I guess the fact that I linked to actual March organizers sites caused too much confusion. Some folks were alternately offended and inspired by my reference to the Farrakan's Million Man march, while other folks got the irony. I could, of course, post "sarcasm," but what's the fun?

Honestly, I would vote for either Hillary or Obama if they were the nominee, but every so often, I see low hangning fruit from a candidate, and I have to go for it. ;)

I was too cocky. When I posted the original link, Limbaugh's front page did not include a single reference to Hillary. However, I guess it was bad karma from me posting all over the internet about how Limbaugh is Hillary's *&^%$, so Limbaugh had to give Hillary heat so that his listeners would not know how much he owns him.

Still, Limbaugh knows that Hillary owns him. So, I expect him to pipe down in the next few hours. Afterall, what new is there to say about Hillary. She has been super vetted!

50. But They Fear The Clintons, This Is Why They Don't Say Squat...
On Fox News and Rush Limbaugh's site, though they just updated their page to add a new story about Hillary sabotaging Operation Chaos, which is due to the bad karma I created by bragging about Hillary's intimidation.

Seriously, Hillary is still doing fairly well in the National Polls, yet where is the 100 pages of opposition resarch you mention? Obama supporters like to point Marc Rich as an issue, as well as Bill's millions from Kazakistan as beating Rezko 100 times over, but no mention is being made of these issues.

Instead, the press is splitting hairs about which exact concentration camp Obama's uncle liberated. Why is that? Its because we did not vet Obama, otherwise we would have known that he can't keep be 100% accurate regarding the specific name of the concentration camp that his grand uncle liberated.

Its because the press and the right wing know that Hillary is bullet proof and properly vetted, and if she were the front runner, then she would cruise to a victory in the general election as the polls that she frequently cites predicts?
