McClellan's Book: Hillary Has Nowhere Left to Go. She Bought the War They Sold Us
Edited on Wed May-28-08 05:15 PM by K Gardner
Think about it.

She has absolutely NO moral imperative left to claim. She was in this up to her eyeballs. No judgement. No questions. Full speed ahead she went.

Remember, she didn't even "ask Condi any questions" when Rice called her to ask if she had any.

This is going to explode even more than it is now over the 2008 Election. Hillary has no argument left. There is no argument left that would even put her on the ticket. McCain is done. Hillary is done.

It's over.

President Barack Obama will be inaugurated.

"History appears poised to confirm what most Americans today have decided — that the decision to invade Iraq was a serious strategic blunder," McClellan wrote in "What Happened," due out Monday. "No one, including me, can know with absolute certainty how the war will be viewed decades from now when we can more fully understand its impact."

"What I do know is that war should only be waged when necessary, and the Iraq war was not necessary," he wrote in the preface.

Shock and Awe - "We need to change the mindset that got us there in the first place." - Senator Barack Obama

1. But she is
The "ONLY" chance we have to win in November. I means she says so, Bill says so, and they would never, never "LIE" to us, would they?

2. I was just thinking about how happy I am to have a candidate who doesn't have to justify and defend

the Iraq War at its inception.

~sigh~

It is a relief.

4. It's going to become a HUGE issue.. and only one candidate left has the credibility
left to argue it. I see now how brilliant Obama has been to stake his argument on JUDGEMENT. :hi:

5. refreshing isn't it
Hillary was given several opportunities to do the right thing but as we all know she wanted to appear strong. IMO, she made herself look incompetent and lazy and I'm sorry we don't need a repeat of the last eight years.

8. I don't believe she knows the definition of "do the right thing".. if she had a moral compass, she
wouldn't be flailing about LOST for the past few months. It takes strength to admit mistakes and learn from them. She obviously cannot, and this in itself disqualifies her from any position in an Obama Presidency.

6. That's why a lot of us were for Obama from the get-go
After watching Kerry get raked over the coals for being "for it before he was against it," I never understood the point of nominating a pro-IWR candidate again.

7. And you were all right. I was late coming to Obama, but I couldn't be happier ! He keeps
saying "this is the time".. and he was, and is, right. It's the entire MINDSET that needs to change in our country.

Out with the old.. in with the new.

9. That has always been important to me. That was why I was for Dean in 04 and Obama in 08.

12. Yeah, Dana Perino said it. She also said she was puzzled by his comments.
Like they are all too fucking dumb to understand what he said.

13. This whole "watching the watchers (media)" for the past 24hrs has been just
bizarre. I don't think they've quite yet settled on a strategy..the "puzzled" meme has been worn out already.

16. Olbermann showed a really funny montage of all of them saying they were puzzled.

Bartlett, Rove, Perino, who then also stated in her official capacity as White House Liar that Bush was puzzled, as well.

It was pretty funny.

14. Rove started the talking points: This isn't the Scott I know, it's just puzzling
Edited on Thu May-29-08 07:56 AM by NotThisTime
And everybody took the talking points from there...

I especially like "he should have spoke up" argument, yeh, he would have spoke up and been FIRED.... who do they think they are kidding when they say that??

And right now at this juncture, if this book gains steam, GRAMPS is going to go down like a ball of fire.... We're lucky to have Obama who opposed this mess from the beginning and for the right reasons.

15. Their behavior might lead one to believe that they are too f*****g dumb.
But, that is the catch phrase of the day for the accused; 'Puzzled.'

18. McClellan is a coward who could have spoken out when it mattered.
But he didn't. Fuck him. He's trying to make a buck and paint himself as a swell guy. He's a coward, and his criticisms of any Dem should be met with scorn, not an embrace because he said it about a candidate one doesn't support.

21. Plenty of people throughout history have spoken out in times of crisis at great personal risk.
He wasn't one of them.

Shit, man, Cheney was walking around shooting people in the face at the time!!

That IS a funny line though. ;)

of how this whole thing is going to impact anyone who was complicit in buying OR selling this war. That's all.. :hi:
