If not as Veep or highly placed in the Obama administration, maybe Senate Majority Leader?

14. He does not have the SDs locked up.
Remember they can change, and have gone back and forth.

I have never seen a person who is behind in a race just stop running. In fact if they did before crossing the finish line, they would be ridiculed.

The call for her to drop out is a political ploy by Obama. They want her to be minimized. They have called for her to drop out since February.

It surprises me that people fall for the political talking point, but, lots of things have surprised me this campaign season--especially the way "progressive" people exposed their hate.

20. Change their mind ! How's that been going so far? Have
you seen the chart of his meteoric rise in SDs? Now what in the world would make that turn around?

You have never seen a person who is behing in a race stop???? What about all these men in my post?

Obama is not pulling a ploy to minimize her ! She is minimized because she can not win - but
refuses to accept reality. Kinda like you.

Edited on Wed May-28-08 08:51 PM by Laura PackYourBags
the point! You don't have to wait around for the inevitable. Most saw it on March 7th.
Bow out now, with a morsel of grace, or wait until every single person hates you.

37. That's like refusing to leave your house
because the flood waters haven't engulfed it yet. Hillary needs to see that the waters are up to the gutters of her house and it's raining hard. No, she doesn't have to leave. She can stay and drown in the inevitable flood.

33. HRC's path to victory
Lie down on the field pretending to be mortally wounded. They have an injury timeout. Have her fans riot in the stands, and throw stuff on the field. Get up, run over and give the line judge a huge wad of cash to look the other way. Smash the clock. Players and coaches hit by bottles thrown by her fans. The head referee stops the game and declares it over, with Hillary losing in a forfeit. Hillary appeals to the league president, who is an appointee of Bill. The president allows a committee of Clinton and Bush appointees to review the action and they say they can't tell what happened, and the game has to be replayed in its entirety. Obama can't believe this. Shows up to the game and sees that Bill is the referee and the new rules allow Hillary's team to have 22 players on the field at one time. Obama walks off in disgust, a forfeit is declared. Hillary wins!

Honestly, I am always amazed with how perfect his pictures look. There is something freakish about how photogenic he is.

Another added bonus-we get 8 years with an excellent leader who won't look like the current monkey in the White House.

34. Edwards hardly dropped out "with grace"
He was raising money until the very end from folks who really didn't have much to give and he did so inexplicably just before Super Tuesday.

Not to rag on Edwrs too much, because a lot of the Obama folks are so smitten that ANYONE who had the temerity (fortitude?) to challenge Obama until the end would be vilified. For one reason or another.

One of many reasons I never got onto that bandwagon.

But if you insist on making a sports metaphor out of it:

Would it make sense for Ray Nitschke to take-out Bart Starr in a scrimmage?
