How I would love to hear Senator Obama respond to Grandpa McCain re: visiting Iraq.
As John McCain well knows, I have visited Iraq, and will do so again. I appreciate Senator McCain's offer to accompany me as a sort of tour guide, but if I require any assistance in that regard I would prefer to seek the counsel of someone who knows the difference between Shia and Sunni Muslims. Furthermore, I require no direction from a man who has on multiple occasions stated that Iran is responsible for the training of Al Qaeda in Iraq. Perhaps my good friend was taking a well deserved nap during those multiple briefings wherein the difference between Shia militants and Al Qaeda was explained. In any case, I fail to discern how his presence could be helpful in any way.

4. Obama said he wasn't interested in a publicity stunt.
Your response does have a particular zing to it - upside the head!

5. His actual response was even better.
“On the day after the former White House press secretary conceded that the Bush administration used deception and propaganda to take us to war, it seems odd that Senator McCain, who bought the flawed rationale for war so readily, would be lecturing others on their depth of understanding about Iraq. Senator Obama challenged the President's rationale for the war from the start, warning that it would divert resources from Afghanistan and the pursuit of Al Qaeda and mire us in an endless civil war. Senator McCain stubbornly insists on pursuing the failed Bush policy that continues to cost so much, while Senator Obama believes it's time to begin a deliberate, careful strategy to remove our troops and compel the Iraqis to take responsibility for their own future."

9. I think it would be more fun to hear what MICHELLE would tell McCain...
regarding his suggestion that Barak Obama visit Iraq.

I bet she's still steaming over Hillary's assassination-as-a-campaign-strategy comment, and she is just itching to blast someone. Why not McCain?
