3. Nope. With the added delegates from MI and FL, you're way more than 44 away.
Even with 50% delegates seated from MI and FL, it will take 2118 delegates.

It may even take more than that if more than 50% from those two states are seated.

4. I'm talking about adhering to the RULES...not some McAullife fantasy...
As many may have mentioned to you already, you can't change the rules midstream. And the Democratic state party officials in Michigan and Florida knew they were breaking the rules when they broke the Four State Pledge, as agreed and signed on to by Hillary Clinton.

6. It depends on what the meaning of the word "reality" is
There's the REALITY of the Democratic Party rules, which 48 states followed perfectly and two states decided they were better than anyone else and decided to break the rules.

Then there's the DELUSION that Democratic Party rules could be broken as Harold Ickes and the Hillary Clinton campaign said "when we are now behind".

You chose. Follow the rules. Or try to cheat.

7. The trouble is that it is hard to find 2 sites or sources that agree
on how many delegates Obama is away from the nomination.

8. I received an e-mail yesterday
Edited on Thu May-29-08 08:23 PM by Phx_Dem
requesting that Obama supporters make a donation on Saturday at the exact time the DNC meeting starts (9:30 EDT), instead of protesting as Clinton supporters are doing.

Sounds like a plan Stan.

I don't have the link anymore, but FYI.
