Let me get this straight: Hillary hints about Obama's assasination, and .....
Edited on Thu May-29-08 08:39 PM by Wolsh
we're all supposed to look the other way, but a pastor with the loosest of ties speaks the truth about Hillary's strategy and her campaign wants a full apology? Really?

Clinton camp not satisfied

A statement from Wolfson:

Divisive and hateful language like that is totally counterproductive in our efforts to bring our party together and have no place at the pulpit or in our politics. We are disappointed that Senator Obama didn't specifically reject Father's Pflegler's dispicable comments about Senator Clinton, and assume he will do so.

By Ben Smith 08:35 PM

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As reference, this is the response that wasn't good enough for Hillary:
As I have traveled this country, I've been impressed not by what divides us, but by all that that unites us. That is why I am deeply disappointed in Father Pfleger's divisive, backward-looking rhetoric, which doesn't reflect the country I see or the desire of people across America to come together in common cause," Obama said in a statement.
Response of Rev. Michael L. Pfleger of statements made during a sermon on Sunday, May 25, 2008
"I regret the words I chose on Sunday. These words are inconsistent with Senator Obama's life and message, and I am deeply sorry if they offended Senator Clinton or anyone else who saw them.
They need all the coverage they can get. At this point, they've cried wolf too many times. It's just sad.
"I really believe that she just always thought, this is mine... Then out of nowhere came, 'Hey, I'm Barack Obama' and she said, 'Oh, damn. Where did you come from? I'm white. I'm entitled. There's a black man stealing my show.'"
I have to agree with the entitlement aspect.
9. This is your idea of the truth?
When Hillary was crying, people said that was put on. I really don't believe it was put on. I really believe she just always thought, 'This is mine. I'm Bill's wife. I'm white and this is mine! I just got to get up, and step up to the plate.' Then out of nowhere came Barack Obama!"
Pfleger feigned tears, continuing: "'I'm white, I'm entitled, there's a black man stealing my show.' She wasn't the only one crying. There were a whole lot of white people crying.... I'm sorry, I don't want to get you in anymore trouble."
and "fairytale" in reference to Obama's shifting opposition to the Iraq war was racist?
And I think most of HRC's die hard supporters feel the same way. Save the fauxrage. You know it's true.
or some stupid shit...
Isn't that what the Queen of the Balls mocked Obama with??
This was an activist priest or preacher or some other clown...But in fantasyland I guess Obama is responsible of all of that....Hmm??
So take your sniveling lying sack of sniper dodging voter disenfranchisement and blow it out your pie hole.
And yep, what that guy said is EXACTLY the truth.
Not a bad imitation of Herself at that.
Obama always has to apologize and Clinton can say what she wants with impunity. I actually voter for her, but After all of this the next time Clinton makes a gaffe and the calls to give her the benefit of the doubt come, she is not getting the benefit of the doubt from me.
17. This is crazy.. Obama has to apologize for someone else who is not part of his campaign, yet
Clinton cannot and will not apologize for the assassination comment (she thinks its our fault for the interpertation). This is insane.. Obama seriously must have to walk into the bathroom on that jet and giggle like a little girl at the idiocy of the shit he is still having to deal with from a spoiled brat.
46. Ok, I have had friends or acquantances I've known for a good while..
there are things that they might say or do that I completely disagree with, but because I know their general character and know it to be good most of the time.. I could say, I disagree with this, but this I like.. AND I would not apologize for something idiotic that they did.. it is them that played the fool.. Now, Obama has to apologize for every person in is radius.. I suppose after this is over Colbert, Stewart, Letterman, and Leno will have to have an apology issued by Obama.. because of their jokes towards Clinton.. you know because he knows them and has been on their shows...
Its overblown b.s. Stupid is as stupid does..
The Clinton supporting pastor also called Obama a pimp. I didn't see the media jumping all over that youtube clip. Obama's camp didn't go all crazy and demand a denouncement from Hillary.
Obama = class
Hillary = pathetic
Of course that comment is meant in just as innocent of a way that Hillary's comment about Robert Kennedy's assassination after he'd clinched the nomination of the Democratic Paty was innocent.
mountain out of a molehill.
What Pfleger did was stupid and he should have known better, IMHO. He apologized. Obama expressed his disappointment over Pfleger's words. But it wasn't good enough for Hillary. She should at least make an attempt to live up to the standards she sets for others.
