My psychic prediction for this weekend
Hillary will not accept any resolution to MI and FL that doesn't flat out make her the winner.

In fact, Hillary won't accept any resolution to this whole primary process that doesn't flat out make her the winner.

She'll trash the whole party if necessary. After all, it doesn't really matter to her -- she's already rich beyond all dreams of avarice. Fuck everybody else.

2. FL and MI will have their delegates reduced by 50%
MI will be seated with Clinton getting roughly 35 delegates and Obama with roughly 29.

The Clinton campaign will protest.

17. It's just my opinion of what the result of the meeting will be.
I believe that MI and FL should not be counted at all. Not to punish, but to uphold the agreed-upon rules and to discourage future transgressions.

Realistically, though, a compromise is going to be made. The minimum penalty is a 50% reduction in delegates, so that's what I think they're going to do.

20. I hear ya.
It'd be pleasing to see the more-than-fair 20 delegate deal that got turned down be superior to your estimate.

Poetic justice.

8. HRC should get credit for the MILLIONS of voters that want HER to be.......
President. I know that is difficult to understand, BUT MORE VOTERS want HRC than BO for our nominee and ultimately our President.

14. YOU can laugh all YOU want. Votes are hard numbers...........
and by extension become FACTS! HRC will WIN the popular vote; winning the popular vote will make HER the nominee.

15. She only wins the popular vote by twisting the numbers to suit her needs.
Like, for instance, counting a non-state US territory that doesn't vote in the GE, discounting a whole bunch of caucuses that Obama won overwhelmingly, fully counting Michigan and Florida.
She doesn't use facts she uses 'facts.'
And even IF she had a legitimate lead in the popular vote, it would NOT give her the nomination.

How are you counting the votes cast my the citizens of Michigan?

that more voters want Clinton???? That's just insane.

22. Sorry, that's simply untrue.
The dem primary electorate is divided pretty evenly, but Obama has won approximately 160 more pledged delegates. Like it or not, that's the chief metric used. No candidate has EVER been nominated who got fewer pledged delegates.

25. The MSM is more than happy to keep fanning the flames and
to put every Clinton supporter she has on TV to give her talking points. They want to do everything they can to tank the Dems in Nov. Hillary is smart enough to know this. She is going to Lieberman the party and her supporters are all accomplices at this point.

Edited on Fri May-30-08 06:07 AM by quantass
I'm not sure if the OP is a woman but i notice this pattern with every single woman i have ever met in my life..
Just curious...nothing wrong with that, just that it seems to be a consistent pattern.
