1. Almost all of the above
I don't think it's his place to tell Stevens and Ginsburg when to retire, though I suspect it won't be a long wait for either of them.

4. I agree! There should have been an "all of the above" option,
and that was the one exception I would have included as well.

11. I say he should just order a big pot of coffee and knock everything out
the first day. Teh restoration of democracy and constitutional authority in this country should be televised. Burn the paper the Patriot Act and the rest of those bills were printed on right on the front lawn.

12. Missing a biggie
Have George W. Bush and Richard Cheney and their cabinet/support enablers ARRESTED and held at Gitmo. We'll sort them out later.

14. I should have listed: "Close Gitmo"
No, let's just "lose" them to a D.C. area city jail and see how long they last. We'll forget they're there and "find" the paper work after we begin pulling troops out of Iraq.

16. Exactly. Hold Bush, Cheney Et al. there without charges for say, 4 years?
Then we'll use extraordinary rendition to have them "interviewed" in some dark mysterious room until they confess.

Then we'll ask them how their own medicine tastes.

22. GTFO of George Bush's war..job number one
Its not going to be an easy job cleaning up the Bush/rethuglian mess. Obama needs to do Iraq first and get it out of the way.

Their will be no solutions to America's other social problems until the torrents of money stop flowing over to Iraq.

Killing tax cuts for the rich and oil companies needs to come next so we can try to dig our way out of Bush's huge deficits.

27. President Obama cannot order Congress to do anything.
Nor can he immediately sign a bill of any sort. His first acts should be to begin planning and execution of a withdrawal from Iraq, review and abolition of unconstitutional and illegal E.O. from prior administrations, and to instruct the justice department to initiate a comprehensive investigation into criminal behavior by the outgoing administrion.
