. . .accountable for hers.

HRC on assassination? No big deal.

Father Pflager on Hillary? Obama needs to be held accountable.

I'm so sick of this shit!

same scrutiny/accountability for the comments of the hag Ferraro or her association with shits like the Family/Fellowship?

6. For the record: I'm an Obama supporter and don't want to get swift-boated
I want to WIN!

I want a long list of things - like single payer health care - and the only way we're ever going to get there is to get a democrat in office and start fighting for it.

This other crap gets in the way. Or haven't you noticed?

8. It's because Obama is so *powerful* that he can *influence* others ...
:sarcasm:

It smacks of the Clintons feeling they aren't to be
held to the same standard as others -- as if there are
"different rules" that apply to them, that we need to
give them MORE of the benefit of the doubt because of
who they are, of their standing ... while Obama needs
to be held accountable for every single possible sin
committed by his supporters or even remote associates.
The Clintons are acting more and more like a "royal
family" every day ... and I agree, it's making me
SICK!

9. Yep. Apparently she thinks Obama's job is BABYSITTER....
...and hall monitor for everything everyone else says and does. While HILLARITY can do/say what she wants and if it's disgusting - well, THAT is Obama's fault too.

OK I'm gonna use the B-word now - BEYOTCH! I'm sorry but she's EARNED it.

For his pastors' DISGUSTING comments about Jews, Muslims and Catholics.

The Clintons and The Enablers behave so much like Republicans, it's quite baffling...

12. Hillary was held accountable for the assination comment.
She apologized but of course, that's not good enough for BO supporters. What exactly do you want her to do because of it, drop out of the race? Yea, I thought so.

Let me explain the BO church situation as I see it. BO said that he did not agree with Wright but it was the Trinity church community he loved. It's members, the good work it did, etc. Well, if you watch any video of Wright or this new pastor the church community agrees with the pastor. They stand, clap, and cheer. That's the problem. It's not the pastor and what he said as much as the church's warm reception to his racist words. Blows BO's argument of 'great church community' out of the water.

19. No she only did 1/2 a apology...
She did not apologize to Obama and his family. Nor did she apologize for using the Kennedy illness as an excuse. See she said the same thing word for word in March ...the Kennedy's were on her mind then as well?

Take the lies back to New York

And she didn't even APOLOGIZE. She said she regretted if anyone was offended. Classic non-apology from a classless thug.

20. Yes, Obama has been held to a higher standard than Hillary
Edited on Fri May-30-08 09:42 AM by Abacus
but I think much of that has to do with the fact that he is lesser known. Hillary has been around a while so the impact of her acquaintances carry less weight; for better or worse people have already sized her up. This process gets shortcutted with Obama -- as people try to figure out who he is, they will fill in missing information with the attributes of his acquaintances. Is it fair? No. I think if everyone stopped to consider what it would be like to be judged by the craziest people they've ever known, they'd come to the same conclusion. Nevertheless, that's the way it is and I don't see much use in complaining about it because that won't change anything, at least not for the better.

26. it does seem strange that she didn't have to apologize for the racist crap
that Ferraro spewed, or any other people associated with her campaign.

I guess it's because she and her husband have made enough questionable statements
themselves. Obama has stayed away from that, so the media has to blow every supporter's
comments out of proportion...?
