It'll be so nice when we can lay these lines directly on McCain. We dems could work out the entire song, but to mock McCain and his smear machine when it really gets going (which will be when Hillary concedes and nobody is doing it for him).

Hillary and her creatures are giving McCain such a free ride... It's like, thru' Penn and Black, thru' Carville and Matalin, Hillary's campaign team has been so corrupted from within that it is run by proxy by McCain. Or rather, by the kindly folk who bought and paid for McCain. To my mind this connection (a blunt fact) signals a critical lack of good judgement in Hillary Clinton. And McCain is in parallel with that.

McCain, hero that he might or might not have been, is now a totally bought and paid for man. He's nothing but a shell, but he has traces of dignity that cannot recognize that he's lost it. Whatever he might have had. So, to me, it's cognitive dissonance when I hear him speak.

He'll no more win than Hillary will. Obama is the person who has it *now*, who is destiny in the making, and the way that his campaign inspires our highest ideals is simply beautiful.

I don't judge an entire church by one (guest) sermon, esp. when taken out of context. The whole context is too complex for that - and that context includes *weeks* of round-the-clock looping of a Wright soundclip, it includes *weeks* of character assassination directed not just at Wright but the whole church, by the MSM, and it includes Hillary and her campaign using this material to smear Obama by association.

Even you must see why the congregation of that church would be proud of the achievement of their fellow parishioner, Obama. In that volatile context of pride and resentment, in a church where emotional displays are the norm (very baptist-like, it appears), there would naturally be cheers and jeers during a sermon like Pfleger's.

On the other hand, I thought Fr. Pfleger's was a terrible sermon, both in content and style. I thought it was manipulative and dishonest. However, I also don't think it's right to attribute that dishonesty to Obama. I don't think it's right for Hill supporters to seek out and publicize every such wrong they can find, done by anyone that might be associated somehow with Obama (however a reach), demanding that Obama immediately respond with denunciations etc. I think that's just dirt-digging negativity which has no positive spin that can help the Dem cause, or Hillary's cause.
