8. Well I respect McCain's service to the country. He deserves that,as a veteran
especially for what he went through. Other than that, McCain gets nothing from me. Maybe that's what he meant too?

11. Hell, I respect his service to the country
I FEAR the effects that service had on his mental stability since he was a tortured POW who never underwent treatment for PTSD.

19. I believe that Obama's team is well aware of the situation
I look forward to teh debates. Obama's people are good and they will prep Obama in such a way that seemingly innocuous statements throughout the debates will piss off McCain more and more as the events drag on.

We're going to end up seeing McCain melt down on national television and the entire campaign will then be over. Bob Barr will end up doing better than McCain.

14. There will come a time in the not too distant future...
when a lot of people on both sides of the aisle will fear saying anything negative at all about McCain for fear of being tagged unAmerican... shame on us for saying anything bad about St. McCain... who gave his all, his very bones, for our freedoms.

17. I have no illusions about McCain. I have had my share of flaming
wars with some trolls over their insistence on voting for him right here on DU.

7. As soon as he can bring those 1 million+ people back to life, I'll consider it...
until then, he can rot in the 6th circle of hell.

12. "I‘m intrigued by what Senator Obama has been running on about changing the way Washington works"
Said Scott McClellan to Keith Olbermann, May 29, 2008

OLBERMANN: I have 30 seconds left as it turns out. Have you decided who you‘re voting for, supporting in the presidential election this year?

MCCLELLAN: I have not made a decision. I am thinking very carefully about that, but I‘ve been so focused on the book that—I want to take my time and hear what the candidates have to say. I‘m intrigued by what Senator Obama has been running on about changing the way Washington works.

I‘ve had respect for Senator McCain, as well for the way he has worked across the aisle with Democrats.

But I‘m going to take my time and think it through.

16. McClellan repeatedly says that he was drawn to Bush because of his bipartisanship in TX....
and because Bush said he planned to do the same thing in D.C.

The fact that that he is "intrigued" by Obama makes me think that he is, again, attracted to the voice of change.

I applaud his optimism. I think Obama will bring change, but if I had been made a patsy by Bush Jr it would be hard for me to trust another politician who said he would change D.C.

But in Obama's case, he's NOT doing the Bush/Rove politics. He's already changing how politics is played (and in a good way, not in an evil Clinton way).

I bet he comes out for Obama.
