We drew up a formal letter requesting the expeditious release of all records pertaining to Mrs. Rodham-Clinton's most recent health check-up, in light of Obama's transparent disclosure.

We are currently waiting for a response from her camp. We were expecting a Friday night news dump release, but since her lawyers and staff are judiciously preparing for their weekend showdown with the DNC and Obama campaign, we'll give them a few extra days to obtain the requested information.

There are many laws she and her campaign are breaking by not releasing said records. I'm surprised you are unaware of what laws she is flagrantly disregarding.

his one page, no doubt carefully edited, letter from the doctor based on only on the information that he was willing to allow the doctor to use as a basis for the letter.

Here's the problem with Obama's one page letter and even to some extent McCain's 1000+ page report. Working only from memory and its not quite this simple, but basically the patient gets to choose what gets released and what is excluded from release as long as it isn't being released to a legal entity, the source of payment or a medical facility that the patient is being transferred to.

Obama for only releasing a medical catalogue assuring voters that he is fit and healthy to be our President.

McCain for releasing over a thousand page document and allowing a select few reporters to peruse this document for no more than three hours.

And Clinton for not releasing anything at all.

They've all broken the law in regards to the release of their medical history.

At least, though, we should be comforted to know that Cindy McCain has been equipped with the education to scan John's body looking for potential melanomas, especially when it comes to his posterior.

Medical records are protected from public scrutiny under HIPAA unless the patient consents and fills out a form. Strictly speaking McCain didn't have to open up his records and Obama didn't have to have his doctor write that pathetic one page letter summary. I won't pretend to to an expert on HIPAA, but these guys don't know anything.
