1. Not when you were told that your vote WOULD NOT BE COUNTED!!
We were told the same thing here in Michigan. Many I know did not go out to vote as a result.

5. There seems to have been a property tax bill that people cared about,
for one thing.

6. Some did. Many didn't. There were only five states where Republican turnout was higher
than Democratic.

Utah, home base for Romney.
Arizona, home base for McCain.
Alabama, home base for Huckabee.

And then MI and FL.

9. That's his home state. He had highest evangelical turnout in 'bammy, IIRC.
Similarly, Romney's 'home states' are MA and MI, but his political home base is Utah.

7. Because there are other things on the ballot
Which some care about, and many don't.

2. Nobody voted in FL. There was a beauty pageant that HRC supporters are trying to retroactively
turn into an election.

10. The "but so many voted" argument is CRUSHED here. Follow the link
http://tpmelectioncentral.talkingpointsmemo.com/2008/05/primaries.php

This is good, basic, powerful statistical work.

And it should end this particular bs argument for good.

12. I agree. When the Bush voters from the panhandle complained
in 2000 that they didn't vote because the state had already been called for Gore - no sympathy, they had the option to vote or not and they chose not to.

13. Who the hell are you
to tell the people of this country when, how and what extent their votes should count? Are you eligible to vote in this country? I would love to see you come to Michigan and tell those folks they took themselves out of the equations because they didn't vote in an election that they were told would not count. Make sure to tell them that your not a citizen of the United States while your at it.
