More Race Baiting: Hispanics will only vote Obama w/t Hillary on the Ticket
Edited on Tue Jun-03-08 02:58 PM by FrenchieCat
The person that said this was a Hillary New York supporter in on a telephone media conference.

The problem with that is how does this person speak for all Hispanic and what they will and will not do? I find this more of the same sickening Mode of Operation found throughout the Hillary Campaign since January.

They continue to divide the country......now in the race for Veep.

When will they learn, and when will Hillary renounce and denounce this generalized racial statement?

7. That's not my point, though. I'm talking about the approach and the language.
This is getting on my nerves!

21. In other words, presumptuousness
Others might be able to help with Obama's "problems" even more than Hillary.

2. Obama already out polling McCain (&Clinton) among Hispanics
Edited on Tue Jun-03-08 03:01 PM by featherman
Here's just one recent example from SUSA on Missouri where Obama leads among Hispanics 62-38

http://www.surveyusa.com/client/PollReport.aspx?g=5d8a1dbb-2be3-4e8e-a7dc-76a5eaadd6a9

Many more available but all of this will become clearer as we move into the GE matchup

I can absolutely imagine some overly passionate Obama delegate saying that the only way black and young Dems would vote for Clinton as Pres is if Obama was VP.

I don't think either side would be right with this generalization. But at a certain point, I think it's too much to expect that Clinton or Obama is responsible for every statement that comes out of the mouths of one of their supporters.

I agree with your disagreement. I just don't put on Hillary.

9. Hillary never denounces anything said that benefits her .......
no matter how odious.

I'm really tired of the divide on racial and gender line bullshit.

It reeks.

8. That's just a bunch of
BULL SHIT! They will vote for Obama! just like women will vote for him, white people will vote for him, and it doesn't matter if they are working class, or the so called "elite". America wants change and Obama offers them the hope that the change we need is possible. McCain offers more of the same. Now not every hispanic, or every woman, or every white person will vote for him, that's obvious, but he can, and will win on his merits. He does NOT need Hillary on the ticket. In fact he stands a better chance of losing if she is on the ticket. It's just more BS from the Clinton camp, and I for one will be glad when it's over and we don't have to listen to their crap anymore.

10. Let's flip that around, shall we...
Many black people will simply stay home if Hillary is anywhere near that ticket. Black radio stations all over the country are receiving calls that the majority of blacks say NO to Hillary in any way, shape or form!!

It's a moot point, anyway, because that is a losing ticket. Put Hillary on that ticket, and you'll see Repugs coming out of the woodwork like roaches on a hot summer's day!

If the Democrats truly want to win, keep Hillary Clinton away!!!!

NO TO HILLARY!!!!

18. Hillary has not been getting 90% of the Hispanic vote and
Obama nor his campaign have ever attempted to race bait when it comes to the Hispanic vote or any other vote.

Hillary's campaign has, hence the difference.

Race baiting against Obama in reference to the Hispanic vote has been going back to January.

20. I didn't bring the subject of Hispanic voters and what they will or will not do...
that was a congressperson who supports Hillary Clinton. She was talking with Hillary Clinton at the time.....to the media.

Call me what you'd like, but again, I didn't raise the issue, the Hillary camp did.......again.

Edited on Tue Jun-03-08 03:05 PM by ErinBerin84
didn't she say something like "The ONLY WAY Hispanics will vote for Obama is if you ( Clinton) are on the ticket." I wouldn't blame Hillary, but generalized statements are always bad.

14. Disgusting.
This is precisely why so many Obama supporters don't want her as VP. He needs to drive a stake through her campaign's heart. They are like vampires who keep rising from the dead.
