I know it is historic That Obama's skin color is reflective of his Kenyan father...
but honestly, I care about that no more than I care about that red hair from your Irish mother. I am just SOOOOOOO happy that the MAN is our nominee. That his FAMILY will guide him. He is as much white as he is black- or as much pink as he is brown. Except for all the young people with skin that is all different colors, now knowing they too can be president, I am ready to move beyond his skin color to the content of his character.

I am glad the media played most of his speech. He is way more than a historic "African American". He is an awesome candidate period!!

1. I agree...
100%. I have never really gotten to the point of thinking of Obama as "black" but as the best damn candidate that this country has had in years. I am over 65 so this is really a major event for me.
