I also showed him the autographed photos and letters I have from Bobby and Ted Kennedy...Nate and his wife are Obama supporters and I am a stalwart supporter of Bill and Hillary Clinton but we all love one another...I wouldn't do anything to sacrifice their friendship.

Surprisingly I even have some Republican friends whom I feel the same way about...They just haven't seen the light...

4. He Took Off His Army Hat And Put It On

He's a great guy...He has a Bronze Star from Korea and a Bronze Star from Nam plus a commendation from the Teaching Tolerance campaign from the Southern Poverty Law Center...He's seventy two years old and was career military...He grew up in the Jim Crow south (Selma, Alabama) and I asked him what it was like to volunteer for a country that wasn't always good to you...He said he was trying to make it better...

I knew in March Hillary was most likely not going to be the nominee...I'm a stone cold realist when it comes to such things... I got dragged into the anti-Clinton threads more than I would have liked... I can't help myself...Whether it's a politician or a sports figure I like, when I see them attacked I take it personally...

Hillary isn't going away. She's just going back to the Senate where she'll write the Healthcare reform bill which will be hopefully passed in the first 100 days. It will be her bill and her legacy.
