I think he accidentally let one of his fantasies out.

"Barack leaned against the wall of the country club, martini in one hand, cigarette in the other. The smooth halo of the table lamp beside him enhanced his huge arrogance. I'd been watching for 10, 15, no 30 minutes as he sneered menacingly at the club members he considered beneath him and called them names under his breath. I was a guest of my cousin Alfred, who promised Mother he'd take me out with him tonight so she could entertain her gentleman friend...

1. No shit. That 'country club' comment was just dripping with bitter envy.
The flaw in the analogy (apart from the obvious one) is that successful self-assured people like Barack don't sit around dissing people under their breath. They are too busy living their lives and helping others. I've known Barack Obamas and Karl Roves in my time, of both genders and in every walk of life, and the Baracks are a LOT more pleasant to be around.

3. The man obviously has some deep psychological issues..
this is why he and shrubya get along so well.

IIRC, Rove's mother committed suicide. Often times a mentally ill parent will be cold and distant, especially if they're struggling with something like depression, and will give confusingly mixed signals to their children. They are very often incapable of unconditional love.

I think Rove is very uncomfortable with Obama's genuine self-assurance. For him, as well as for his lord chimp, it's all a put-on, totally fake.

4. Yeah, on rove's resume he managed
to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear for a few years and then it all exploded in their collective incompetent face.

Now, he's trying to destroy a competent person with his heinous flickering tongue. rove is so last admin and is lucky his traitorous tail isn't in prison.
