no matter if Obama picked him or her. I could really get excited if Obama picked any of the following (in alphabetical order):

Joe Biden
Wes Clark
John Edwards
Tim Kaine
Bill Richardson
Kathleen Sebilius

1. I could support almost anybody.
I'm more interested in those who would actually do a good, competent job in office, would help Obama the most during his Presidency, and are Presidential material themselves--rather than just deliver a state or a demographic, which is not reliable anyway. Being open-minded, and in no order, these are:

Joe Biden
Jack Reed
Richardson
Sebelius
Edwards
Webb (though out of the running now)
Warner (also out of the running)
Hagel
Nunn
Bloomberg
Daschle
Powell

I'm cool to people who would be an immediate detriment to the ticket:

Clark (fairly or not, he's sort of a liability now)
Dodd (mortgage scandal--he was one of my top choices until that episode, sadly)
Clinton (no more drama, no more Bill, please)
Kerry (sorry, too much recent ammo against him, kind of a retread)
Gore (um...no--same boat as Kerry)

I have no strong feelings for or against these people--they're either fairly new to their jobs and don't bring much experience to the ticket besides their own states, or they just don't wow me for some reason, but they'd be acceptable:

Kaine
Schweitzer
Bayh
McCaskill
Zinni

7. Thirded
:D

I would be OK with Biden, though.

He had better not pick Dorothy, however.

6. Anyone Obama chooses is worthy of support -- he IS the nominee.

8. I look at it from the other direction.
To be honest, I'm not overly excited about the top of the ticket; I'm relatively neutral on the bottom.

As long as it's not a blue-dog, complicit centrist, or a republican, I'm okay with it.
