Is there even a need for a general election? I only ask after seeing several of these great threads.

Most of the scenes and pictures has him playing the role our past President should have played, I even go as far as to say that he seems to be a defacto President.
As others have said before he looks and acts very Presidential and this move by McCain to force Obama to Iraq has turned into making Obama's popularity move up exponentially not only in the world but here as well. McCain is basically a non-existent contender kind of talked about in the most mocking terms.
I have not seen past Democratic candidates take up such a role. Even Gore who was Vice President and running for Presidency never had such an international appeal.
I just did the thread, just to point something out that I've seen and I'm excited about. He's reestablishing us from the nation of savages or dummies that other nations see us as, into something to be admired with great test. It's good to see that even without the title he is already delivering on a few things he promised us.
Go Obama!! '08
